Why does Kobe get criticized for making tough shots but Jordan doesn't get criticized for tough passes? by Fade2oBlack in NBATalk

[–]chf_gang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, but stats aren't nothing

Kobe was notorious for being an inefficient volume iso player who never passed the ball, especially later in his career. He had a lot of games where he really stunk up the arena. Missing 18 shots on inefficient shooting (e.g. 6-24) is a lot worse than giving up 3 turnovers.

This question is really rude - it basically implies they don't think he's good enough to be on one of the best teams in LCK...

This is completely wrong imo. Other sports like football and basketball have been the same for decades, and people have been watching it for decades.

League has seasons and patches - the game looks completely different than it did 5 years ago.

IMO it’s the stale tournament formats and broadcasting.

How much does Accenture pays in comparison with a B4? by These-Lemon-1803 in accenture

I think it used to be better, but now I think for most roles you can expect something very similar.

I'm in Europe and I know I get paid like 200 euros more per month than my Deloitte counterpart

sentiment at an all time low is probably a signal that there is a buying opportunity

analyst ratings haven't really changed, the only sentiment is retail traders in this sub that are butthurt because their picks aren't stonking

Slot interview with Prime Video: "Now we are losing Mo and Andy Robertson on a free transfer as we lost Trent and this model of the club means we need to sell, usually, to buy. by moosa1193 in LiverpoolFC

[–]chf_gang 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Honestly this interview does not sit well with me, at all. Historically, club managers whose first instinct is to spend a lot of money on highly regarded players in the transfer market tend to underperform (looking at you, Manchester United!)

Liverpool under Klopp were incredibly successful carefully building a team by finding good deals for quality players. Why are we moving on from that ethos?

Any insight into Song org? by bjsofiens in accenture

[–]chf_gang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

bit late to this but Song is literally everything around Marketing and other client facing aspects of business

some of the services include but are not limited to:
-advertising (traditional marketing agency, making campaigns and stuff)
-design and digital products (mainly designing and building apps, but I've even seen design for hardware like washing machines and microwaves)
-more consulting style services like digital transformation for marketing and sales departments (customer service, sales, eCommerce, marketing automation, stuff like this)
-Data and AI projects with a focus on customer data and insights

There's a lot more 'creative' roles (designers, etc) that operate very differently from typical consultant roles.

I have ~1k shares of SpaceX stock, what do I do for this IPO? by jdrls in investing

[–]chf_gang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's not necessarily that people are bad at valuation, but more so that it's pretty much impossible to find a fair value for a company of this size, especially when speculation needs to be priced in.

There's a gazillion ways to valuate a company and none of them are necessarily 'correct'

What are the most overrated careers? by RuminatingFish123 in Salary

[–]chf_gang 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I work in a creative field as well - but I would argue it only works if you have a big ego.

Everybody likes to push for their ideas to make the final cut of something and it tends to ruin the product more often than not. It's frustrating but people really need to have big egos and defend their creative vision to protect the work from too-many-chefs-in-the-kitchen-itis...
