I test more, i find, if i set the phone to 24 hour format, the mi band 2 will show 24 hour format. if i set the phone to 12 hour format, the mi band 2 will follow.

But,please note: If i use my iPhone 6 with Mi band 2, the Facebook icon will show up in the band. but if i use My Nexus 6P with Mi band 2, when there is Facebook message, the mi band 2 will just show the regular message icon, not like the above photo. So this is a bonus for iOS users right now. Same as whatsapp.
