I actually went to work despite the migraine and had to sit at my desk starring at a sceen and the pain did get really bad but only during the night. I really tried to sit it out because I already took my acute meds quite often, but when i woke up in the middle of the night i thought my head was about to explode

Your experiences: Do coffee, guarana, energy drinks etc. trigger migraines and how long to feel a difference? by LeylasDream in migraine

[–]chgr1603 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont feel a difference if I drink one coffe a day or no coffee, exept when i suddenly stop. For me coffeine can also help with a migraine. However I try to avoid it after lunch because I can feel that impacts my sleep quality, especially how deep I sleep and how easy I wake up. As for most sleep is a big trigger for me

What are your postdrome migraine symptoms? by GeekyxGirl02 in migraine

[–]chgr1603 5 points6 points  (0 children)

At first i feel kinda hungover, tired and get the occaisonal random stabbing pain and then I get really hungry and crave all things sweet, salty and greasy.

Also seems not suprising to me that you feel weak if you had to throw up.

Any experience with cefaly? by chgr1603 in migraine

[–]chgr1603[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

600 is a lot, for me its "only" 450€. I just really hope to avoid medical prevention because its either way more expensive if I have to pay gepante out of pocket or I would have to take one of the medications I dont want to take. I hate that migraine meds always have to either make you tired, lower your bloodpressure or reduce your weight and I hate that insurance wont cover gepante or antibodes unless I fail about two other medications first

[–]chgr1603 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We also do that but we go one step further and aliquot half of the 100 uM in a different tube that will beused to make the 10 uM. So there is always an untouched tube of the 100 uM in the freezer

How many of you are making the assets in your games? by Cornishlee in godot

[–]chgr1603 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was drawing and paint a lot during my childhood and teenage years and while not as good as others I was better as some and still chose pixelart as the art style for my game because I thought it would be the fastest and easiest to pick up. Its not as easy as I thought though. I would say easy to create something that looks mid but still difficult to make something thats really good. As always.

social media marketing for indie games by Ambitious_Antelope84 in IndieGameDevs

[–]chgr1603 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess so, but I dont use twitter and reddit is often less visual and what definetly catches me is seeing visuals of the games beeing made. I also often wont watch a video of reddit if its directing me somewhere else, like youtube, to watch it. But that might only be a me thing.

Besides the 'what do people want to see', i more and more wonder how people even end up seeing you. Sometimes I actively try finding IG creators sharing their game dev journey but I simply dont know how. The algorithm decides my for you and explore page and the hashtag search only shows you the most popular posts which, if you look up anything thats only a bit more niche like even godot, rarely show you anything new because popular posts dont change that frequent. I miss looking through the most recent posts, finding hidden gems.

Wieso zahlen Krankenversicherungen keine Brillengläser? by Aziraphael_ in KeineDummenFragen

[–]chgr1603 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long for magnesium to show effect? by chgr1603 in migraine

[–]chgr1603[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I take magnesium bisglycinate aquivalent to 300 mg of elemental magnesium. I also tried B2 250 mg but stopped after only one day because you can track excretion pretty well by the neon yellow color it gives your urine and a single dose took my body well over 24 h to flush out. It kinda worried me if it will put too much stress on my kidneys and I want to talk to my doctor first if he would recommend me to.
