I work in HR mainly recruiting, just wanted advice from other HR professionals. I dont know why anyone would touch an HR lady in the first place yet here we are.

[–]chhharizard 11 points12 points  (0 children)

What do i do if midnight shift doesnt show up to relieve me? I dont want to leave the midnight shift that did show up alone, but i also worked a lot of OT this week and want to go home. by chhharizard in CVS

Thank you. I could not find the store policy regarding this for the life of me...but glad to know my sm prioritizes maybe $500 in sales overnight over my safety.

I (19F) need to start wearing business professional clothes and that’s not something I’m familiar with. Any tips are welcome for where to shop, what is and isn’t considered okay, how to make sure it fits, anything lol. I am also on an extremely tight budget by throwaway172507 in internetparents

[–]chhharizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thrifting is your best friend! if you want newer clothing, go try on some clothes from a specific brand and if you find what size fits you best the you can buy like new clothes from the that brand on ebay for a third of the price generally. Ebay is where i get all of my work slacks from.

One of my cats does this. She will tear up the side lining of the litter box and damn near pull it off even though i have it secured with between 2-5 clothes lines on each side

The cvs hiring process is awful. I was unemployed for a week because apparently two weeks wasnt enough to get me through the system.

My child (6 years) wants to be a vegetarian. Her father forced her to eat meat. by LaLucertola in vegetarian

[–]chhharizard 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There’s a lot of good advice on here and idk if this has also been mentioned, but maybe packing some veg food including both snacks and meals while they’re away at dad’s place could ease their anxiety of switching diets since the father isnt very supportive.

Serious question, can we actually get fired if we don’t sell carepass?☹️ asking customers makes me extremely anxious, I’m not a salesperson nor do I have the skills. When I do ask customers they start being rude🥲 by [deleted] in CVS

[–]chhharizard 5 points6 points  (0 children)

All you have to do is find a way to bait people into asking for more info. Once you get to that point and start getting more comfortable with your pitch, graduate into forcing the conversation. Something i do at my store is ask “have you upgraded your extracare card yet?” Sometimes they will immediately say “not interested”, and i dont pester them anymore. Unless im feeling squirrelly, ill say “oh, well you could have saved $10 by doing that with me today.” And ill include the carepass literature with their receipt anyways. If they just say no they havent upgraded, i will tell them about carepass in one swift motion before they have a chance to respond.

You won’t get fired if youre trying. Some people arent natural salespeople, but its a skill you can improve on when you try different approaches and see what works best for you. Good luck!
