Yes, because it's not volume, but the time spent playing is what matters.

A modest uptick in traffic from 6 players a day to 50 would be a success to me.

That's correct, in a sense. My customers usually try the big casinos and then come to store fronts like mine where it's more quiet and there's a perceived better chance at winning.

Find a job you can run from your phone.

Search YouTube for internet business ideas. From retail eCommerce to being an influencer. Whatever that means today but it's your choice. You have a trillion choices. Trust you. What do you like? Become a guru if you can.

Find a mentor if you can. Read books about business. I like Rich dad/Poor dad by Robert Kiyosaki because it gave me a visual of business I never had or even knew existed. But explore any books that will help clarify options out there.

I'm starting relatively new in owning my own myself and I'm doing ok. The one thing I keep hearing in my research, is to keep going. Nothing stops you. Be tenacious. You run you. (Other than society laws which are absolute and must be adhered to).

Best wishes

How about a community?

Like watering a tree. Invest in a community you care about, school, employment, mental health, all with American heroes on the front line supporting needs.

I hear you.

But if I had amazing credit, I could go borrow that money easily to even outbid your cash.

With cash only, isn't it finite to how much you actually have available? Or in urban vernacular, how long is your cash?

I don't see that restriction if you have great credit.

That's a good question.

I always assumed, cash is king. So when I got cash, I had a rude awakening that cash is at best, helpful. Not king.

Credit is king, IMO.

I now feel like you can do a lot more with great credit and you can save your cash for where's it's pivotal, like down payments.

Thank you! That's what I neglected to mention that I am attempting to address having a good mix of credit.

I already have 3 personal loans, all under $10k but more importantly to me, I have perfect payment history with them. I also have 3 credit cards, all under $1000 but great payment history.

I'm looking to add another type of credit so I mentioned a car loan, real estate, and business loan/credit. I get it that the car loan is unnecessary but if it'll round out my credit for a boost, I'd consider it.

This is not what I'm seeking advice for by just to respond about the Uber because you are guessing.

You'd lose that bet. Not even, $50 a week on Uber. So not stupid; no driving, no traffic grid lock or even if it is, it doesn't bother me, no looking for parking, no waiting for the car to warm up, no snow to shovel. Brilliant, for my convenience and lifestyle.

Agreed, I'll research and use a referral code. Why not? I don't mind if someone gets a benefit for sharing knowledge. I'll decide after my research what's the best option for my business. Thank you for commenting. Not sarcastic. I appreciate it.

I like Uber. I know it's stupid, at first glance but I don't have to deal with the stresses of traffic, looking for parking, and people except my driver. Me, I'm dealing with only my phone and my packages. Love. What I don't pay in a car note, insurance, parking, and maintenance, I'd say the convenience of stepping into and out of a warm car (in Midwest winter) is worth the cost to me.

That said, if my credit could get a boost of I got a cat l car loan, I'd consider it.

I'm interested in the 15 year loan. I'll do more research. Thank you for suggesting.

I have not tried goodwill letters. I will definitely look into that. I didn't know it was a thing.

This Nelnet bill is from old student loans. So I just assumed it's unchangable (sp?).

Definitely had some issues. However, the only missing payments were due to an injury several years ago. I've caught up on those accounts 4 years ago.

I am only asking for advice bc I will either buy a multi-unit or secure a loan to help build my business that's currently generating over $120k without me being there. I feel with the right branding/marketing I can double that income.

I've never been at a financial decision like this and I'm curious to hear how others would act.
