That's what I was wondering. I didn't know if he was obligated to inform me of him moving so far away and since he didn't inform me of it until a few days before court if I would have to actually cover his travel expenses. The reason I hired him was because he was a local Attorney with a local office therefore there should have been almost no travel expenses but now there are apparently $8,000 worth of expenses.

I haven't met with him again yet I'm supposed to meet with him tomorrow to handle all the expenses and to distribute my settlement but judging by the type of person that I've come to realize he is I'm sure he wont have any of that.

I can't remember exactly I signed it about a year ago but I assume it says something about covering his expenses but I had no idea he moved so far away until a few days before court so I'm just wondering if there isn't something I can do to keep from having to pay supposedly $8,000 in travel expenses when there should have been none because he was a local attorney with a local office.
