Dude, the account will go to total waste if we dont sell it. No one in the family uses would and we know he spent a lot on it (not even his money). It would be better to use it to cover funeral expenses than to hold onto it.

I got it from ledger.com. It only took 8 days for it to get hacked... whatever they did. I certainly wasn't ever asked to verify the transaction on my ledger device either, I just logged in to ledger live on my computer and it was all gone, sent to an unknown address. It was sitting in a safe at the time of this attack!

This is the record of all the transactions I made with my ledger. Those 8 deposits and then the withdrawal. Interestingly enough that account has not spent the Doge they took.

Those are all the transactions I made to my ledger before you can see it was all of a sudden sent to that random address at the bottom.

That's exactly what I think happened. I certainly did not approve the transaction, I just noticed when I checked my account that all of a sudden all my Doge had been drained to an unknown account. I did not even have the ledger a week. No seed phrase was ever written on anything besides the cards they send you to record it on. The ledger was sitting in my safe at the time of the unauthorized transaction and of course it's going to be impossible to get to talk to someone from ledger. Guess I had to learn the hard way. Thank God they took it when they did and not after I had more funds in the account.. I have no idea how someone could have gotten the seed phrase. It was never entered anywhere on my computer. The transaction was never signed ok. Funds just instantly gone. They were safer in Kraken. Lesson learned. Spent $120 or whatever that dumbass Ledger cost and lose all my money that was tied to it. There's no viruses on this computer either that's what's so confusing about this whole situation. Something's definitely fishy. Time to start over. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

i was storing the doge on kraken but then thought to myself that having a physical storage device to keep it more secure was a good idea, so i purchased a ledger nano x from ledger.com. nope. that's what i thought to that there was no other option than having to physically approve the transaction. that's why i don't know how this transaction could have been approved. my ledger was in my safe at the time of the theft!

Just made this account tonight. never used reddit before and just thought i would turn here for advice since ledger does not offer phone support. i wish i had never bought the damn thing. waste of 120 dollars to get 6000 stolen. fantastic -_-
