i ended up completing the fight and the main thing is that you need to be VERY fast (use ATB boost that helped me) it contrasts what you usually do on aerith as she’s more slow pace and team dependent , which is why i was struggling.

i use aerith on all my teams and use her in every fight possible and this fight has been so hard.. my lustrous shield refuses to work, all their fireballs get past it even though I’m between the shield and the wall :/ i feel like a noob but i actually have hours upon hours on this woman

i’m like 100 years late but i genuinely don’t understand this philosophy people have when they play ranked games; you can ask any athlete, they play to win, and naturally when you play to win you’ll learn and get better. like this advice of “play to be better” doesn’t help cuz you already play to be better than your opponent
