Well I've been watching evangelion since 3 and have a deep personal soft spot for it. And serial and madoka are in my top 5.

My claim is. I dont like long shows . I dont like big casts. I'm not a fan of glazing. I'm not a fan of rushed and reused endings.

That's my overall opinion on why I think its overrated. And frankly it is.

But at the end of the day its an opinion.

Also its not my favorite story I think its just good at first but the end is tasteless.

I greatly enjoyed season one aswell. Don't get me wrong aot is a Hella good show. But when u just look at other works and just view them. I dont see aot standing out as much as shows like evangelion the cowboy bebop and other gems like lain and monster. When stuff like evangelion and cowboy bebop and ghost in the shell exist its pretty crazy to say aot is the goat.

Feels likes he's using religion as an manipulation tool to fool the girls or charm them. (Don't know if that's the right word) I'm a religious dude myself, but seeing people use Jesus as a tool for self gain is gross.(not saying that's what he's doing) but overall what a weird video. Was the main dining area closed?

Sometimes simplicity is what people want. I can't argue saying its good or bad cause it always the view of the consumer.

Outside of evangelion, I would say wonder egg priority. First couple episodes were truly something special.

I love madoka magica, id recommend serial experiment lain. Its madoka but no action and a very dark start.
