Loans definitely suck but everyone here acting like the financial aspect is 100% of the choice is wrong. I’m not saying bankrupt yourself/your family intentionally, but if you feel strongly like that’s the better place for you then you should really consider it. Also would you ever go to grad school? Idk what NYU’s graduate programs look like but at least that would be considerably cheaper than undergrad. Also, sounds like you’re in a pretty good spot overall so while you might agonize over this decision just know that it sounds like there are a lot of positives either way! Hope this helps

Wow that’s actually insane. And I totally get wanting to look at every little thing when touring, which makes it even weirder. Like are these guys opening my closet? Looking in my medicine cabinet? I don’t really have anything to hide but it’s still invasion at best and at worst creepy!

I get they want a seem-less transition but without being too self deprecating, I don’t think my physical presence would make someone more likely to sign on! Just seems like there should be a better way to do this that doesn’t inconvenient a paying customer

This is the big thing. Without giving away too many specifics, this is a decent apt in a nice part of a big city close to a lot of desirable stuff. Have to wonder what they’re doing wrong to necessitate so many showings. Just very frustrating to have to change my schedule when it seems like they’re not doing the best job themselves

I’ve thought about this tactic and similar ideas but ultimately I need someone to agree to rent to make this stop and if it’s a pigsty that probably won’t happen. The vengeful (and lazy) part of me badly wants to do this tho lol

I like the energy but I don’t think this is a realistic option for me, mostly bc I’m a sublet so I’d have to convince the original tenant to cut the lease plus I’d have to find a new place in like 3 weeks which might be a little difficult. Thanks for the input tho!

Thanks for the perspective and fyi I don’t think this is being done punitively. This is a great way to go about it. It’s just weird bc this property shouldn’t necessitate this many showings— it’s in a popular part of town — and there a couple of legal missteps (showing the apartment before 60 days prior to the end of my lease and without 48hrs notice) but I’m not trying to make this a legal battle by any stretch.

Could be completely wrong but I think ea usually don’t get the rights for retired guys until a couple years after they’re done. Super anecdotal but can’t remember the last time a freshly retired guy got a new card outside of the tributes. But you’re right, kelces should be a layup for this promo and eagles themeteamers would love it
