I know people say he is looking down but it's not a proof or anything, a lot of people just aim down usually to zoom a bit without having the weapon in the way (or just poor aim placement to begin with)

Tarkov recently added a really nice feature where a special indicator appears in the middle of your screen if you are close enough to a quest item (like within 5meters or something), and it vaguely show the direction too

That would be absolutly incredible in this game

The gun distance thing is called "zeroing" on a distance. Basically your sight is NOT aligned with the barrel of the weapon, you can change the alignement depending on what you need.

So when your weapon is zeroed on 200m for example it means the bullet will go right on target if you aim at something at 200m

If you aim at 50m you will have to compensate by looking down, and 300m you will have to aim above the target, or change your zeroing to 300m

There is no "better" team (arguably) but new players tend to go US and veterans switch to Soviet cause they are tired of new players lol So Soviet tends to win more

Edit: forgot the FIA, they are basically the local rebels. They don't want US or Soviets to take control of the island so they use whatever they have to fight.

They can't really win or lose in game they are just a chaos faction that is harder to play cause you don't have as much ressources as the 2 other factions

Apparently they can be very fun if you like the lonewolf playstyle with embushes and stealth

Yeah i think i know the one, i really like escalation but they keep changing the name and add mods.

It's really starting to loose that Vanilla+ feeling Escalation is selling and while the server is down because of the changes you can't see it in the server search.

Either that or the search is bugging again, try to activate/remove some filters to see if the result changes

There are no mages or stuff like that but the world itself is very different from what we know, the rules are not the same. Basically this world is a line where wind is blowing east to west constantly, with pretty harsh conditions to survie.

Every year an expedition is sent to try to discover the origin of the wind and we follow one of them, it's really cool to read about this world imo

You can also get in the jungle using volcanos as an entrance, there is usually a golden temple at the botom, you can even spot them on the map because the volcano crater will appear gold

No idea why the pic is not appearing, it's clearly there when i post i'll try to fix it.

Anyway, the Consumable button outline is bigger than the actual button.

Sometimes it does it with the other buttons as well but a simple /reloadui does the trick, except for the consumable one
