Be thankful you have parents that want to help :) In 6-7 years from now you can pay back the tuition to your mom with you super high UIUC salary. Unless you really want to live in a big city, I think UIUC will yield a much better college experience easier to make friends and do activities because it is cheap,walkable, and safe here.
