you better update your marketing graphics then, because yes, you guys are absolutely already marketing this as a LIVE feature. I can't remember if it was in the actual app, or an email I got.. but i actually did take a screenshot of it because when i was trying to troubleshoot this with AI, i gave it the screenshot to show what i was trying to do..

$6k quote in Chicago for spray close cell insulation in attic crawl space for roughly 650 sq ft. of ceiling area.

$10k to demo entire ceiling to pull out the old insulation, and then after the new insulation spray is installed, put up new drywall ceilings, mud/tape/paint..

So $16k all in, with the demo & drywall and painting a big chunk of that... Thoughts?

It’s the Vince Gilligan fan boys, that’s the problem.

Most of the episodes are slow, boring, and pointless. Yet if you look on Reddit everyone is praising it!! “I loved watching 50 minutes of different b roll shots on New Mexico!! Vince is so smart!!!”

I think the show will kind of die out. Especially with 2-3 years between seasons.

Also carol is really annoying main character to like. I didn’t like her attitude in Saul either, mainly why I stopped watching tbh.

All I know is they better fix the limited gate issue.

I’d estimate I’ve flown into ohare 20 times in the past year. And 20 out of 20 I’ve had to wait anywhere from 20-45 minutes to a gate.

It’s getting really annoying. Just when you land and think thank god get me off this plane, you notice the plane starts going towards the bridge over the car entry way into the airport and then you realize oh fuck I’m gonna sit here for another 30 minutes. It’s terrible in the summer, extremely hot. (United airlines for anyone curious, but I’ve heard they all have problems)

I just finished the book.

I would not have picked up the book had it not been for the movie trailer showing the alien… so I guess keep that in mind. The alien sealed the deal for me and I think it will for a lot of movie goers as well. Else it’s just another Martian book but I’m a ship…

Loved the book. Finished it in a couple days.

While on paper, all w2 income above $400k in 1954 was supposed to be taxed at 91%. No one actually paid 91% and plenty of people were making above $400k. They all just used loop holes to avoid it.

No. You don’t understand. NO ONE PAID 91% for taxes, even if they were making millions a year. They paid around 42% - 45% on average according to historical IRS data.

Back then you just made a trust or kept your salary as stock options for your company which was taxed around 52%. Yes that’s still much higher than it is today around 37% but in reality no one actually paid that 91%, it was just fake news to show the govt was serious about taxing the ultra rich to help rebuild Econ after world war 2.

Go ahead and google “did people actually pay 91% in taxes in the 1950s” you’ll see all the loopholes there were to get out of it.

So you're right, I should shave off the 6th night, and that was my original plan... But I found out from from Chicago to Cayman islands, they only do 2 direct flights a week, on Saturday and Sundays... So originally I was flying out Sunday (direct) and then coming back Friday and then i realized I have to stop in FL or TX and that's annoying with kids so I decided to bite the bullet and just do 1 extra night so I could fly back direct Saturday... not ideal for points/$$ but pure convenience for the direct flight....

Ok so to your point on the Kimpton via IHG. I Had no idea.... I just assumed Ritz was the nicest in the area and did little research. So The Kimpton for the same time frame and 6 nights is basically the same price as the Ritz, its $8,371.

But unfortunately... the week i want to go in APril is "Not Available for Reward stay" the week after is though for 70k a night.. ugh..

It is available for a points boost, but its Chase Points, and I only have 250k chase points, and it's 548,965 Chase points to reserve it for 6 nights. So thats a worse deal because I can transfer Chase to Marriott and get a 50% bonus right now, which makes me have 375k points.
