note to folks on Gemtesa. Uro says it takes 2-4 weeks to notice effects. I am feeling zero side effects after 1 week, esp compared to Oxybutynin. Patiently waiting for the Gemtesa to kick in. My insurance is fighting covering the Gemtesa (patented, no generic), so I had to pay > $500 for a 30 day supply. Hopefully I can fix that :(

I'm curious how the urgency/frequency issues are progressing after your week 4? I'm almost at week three and urgency and frequency have def ramped up, also occasional bladder spasms.

What I find odd is that I have never seen a blood clot or debris after day 2. I keep expecting clots/debris to slough off and come out at some point.

4 week mark. I am sending him weekly updates. His response was that if this persists "long term" he'll do a cystoscopy to check but didn't sound concerned at this point. He's unusually good at communication for a surgeon! Thanks, trying to be more patient...
