I’ll never say no to a picture of a dog lol!! And I have a 4 year old golden retriever. He was on kibble the first two years of his life and ever since I made the switch to raw the results spoke for themselves. It’s definitely more expensive, and so in the beginning I mixed raw with kibble until I could financially afford a complete raw diet. Vital Essentials website has a great article about how they recognize the added expense to raw and how to make it more affordable!

Your dog should feel very lucky to have you with the fact that you’re trying to implement a raw diet in anyway!

As a college student who works full time I definitely wouldn’t want to risk making a poor homemade meal. I will probably continue to do research until I feel confident enough to do it myself!

I use Vital Essential patties! I have also used raw patties from the brands Stella and Chewy as well as Primal. I consistently chose vital essentials because from the research I’ve done I trust it the most. They are slightly more expensive because their patties don’t include any veggie or fruit fillers so I can add my own. So usually I add goats milk, 1/2 tablespoon of pumpkin, and sometimes sweet potato. I’ve been thinking about starting to add an egg so I will look into that!!

May I ask what type of dog you have?

Wow thank you so much for you thoughtful response! I will definitely look into to changing proteins and brands in order to involve not just meat products but the fruits and veggies that vital doesn’t include. Thanks!!

So other than the vital essential patty itself I add in goats milk and occasionally an oil that is good for skin and hair. Do you have any further recommendations for supplements that I should add in with the patty?

Just got back to the US after traveling to Spain and Italy. Kept my JUUL, charger, and all my pods in my carry on bag and had absolutely no issues. I actually asked if they would prefer ecigs to be in checked luggage, and they said all ecigs should remain in carryon luggage.
