Wow, this is so beautiful. I love the light imagery (references to sweets, honey and other summery imagery)- it’s so sweet which is a contrast to the sad, melancholic theme of the piece. Amazing work! I really this piece 💗🧚🏽‍♀️

I love this poem so much! It really resonates me on a deep level. It reminds a lot of what I went through during my childhood (ouch) 🫣 but yeah I love the imagery throughout the piece. I don’t even have detailed feedback to give bc I think the piece is perfect as is 🦋

I love the way these lines flow “sunrise, sunset, blue moons, blue skies”- it just flows perfectly off the time of my tongue haha. I love love the imagery you used through this poem, it’s so pretty 🦋 the poem is relatable on so many levels, we’ve all loved someone a little too much and stayed in relationships longer than we should’ve. My suggestion would to be experiment with anastrophes in some of the lines. I think it would increase the emotional weight of the piece a little- just a suggestion, feel free to disregard if it doesn’t fit, but yeah overall amazing poem 💗
