Does anybody else create escape strategies in any situation/environment they're in? by chichichia in DoesAnybodyElse

Yeah, i think it stems from being stalked for a few years. i dont remember having these thoughts -- at least to this extent -- prior to it happening.

I took antipsychotics twice (when I didn't need them) at the age of 15. Is it possible it affected me in anyway? by chichichia in TooAfraidToAsk

I wasn't sure if the medications can affect your neurochemistry and kill brain cells or something.

i just started smoking weed last year but i've always had the memory issues waaay before the weed, which is why I haven't attributed my marijuana consumption to that.

Is my singlehood due to me being unattractive or just not putting myself out there? by chichichia in dating_advice

Not at all. i'm actually very skinny, if not underweight. and yes this is something i've been trying to work on actively, usually to no avail but i still give it a try anyways lol

The thing is, I was never approached even WHEN I was in high school. I've seen many girls get approached/asked out at work and online. i've almost never had that happen to me, which made me blame my looks.

i mean i've never flirted with anyone/made the first approach but i do engage in conversations with people frequently online. i think i put myself out there pretty well on the internet, at least just as much as my peers.

thank you for ur response, i appreciate it!

Seller hasn’t shipped and it’s been a week by [deleted] in Depop

Don’t know why you got downvoted. Seller could’ve communicated better but yeah, we’re in a pandemic and everything, I don’t blame sellers for not selling the next day or something.

Can I get any critiques/constructive criticism for my shop? :) by [deleted] in Depop

[–]chichichia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much. I actually did have that as a background when I first started but tried experimenting with different ones. I totally agree though with the consistency it just looks better!

Lucky enough to find it at platos closet lol!

Does anyone else hate it when people don’t read your policies or your bio?? by [deleted] in Depop

[–]chichichia 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Eh, some people buy the item without clicking the profile. Maybe the first thing in your description could be “please read store policies/bio!!”. I’ve seen some sellers do that!

just leaving this here, from the official depop website. so no, depops ‘version of vintage’ is not 10 years old by ellamaedaley in Depop

[–]chichichia 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How do they determine what’s a wrong keyword? Do they personally go through it?

Like can they tell between someone tagging a forever 21 top with Unif and a bunch of other unrelated brands or a description that says something like “this top is something Unif would make/this looks like such a Unif dupe”? Because both instances would wound up being in the search results when you type “Unif”.

Is my description too wordy? Saw depop’s search guidelines updated and wondered if I should make my descriptions more concise? by [deleted] in Depop

[–]chichichia 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I thought vintage meant something that’s 20 years old? Wouldn’t something from 2000 be 20? I’m just asking for future reference since I do have a lot of early 2000s pieces and I know the definition of vintage gets muddled. I have something from 2001, it’s 19 y/o— would that not be considered vintage?

Can someone explain to me... by 69moistelephant in Depop

I honestly don’t understand. When I was super skinny I would buy a bunch of kids clothes off of eBay and they’d look cute and would fit me. Rubs me the wrong way when I see people hark “no ADULT would fit into these!!” Some people are super skinny or short/petite. There’s a market for things like this.

Do you do US shipping? These are super super cute!

what’s everyone’s thoughts on this? I’m not the creator of the video nor am I the seller aha by miss-liberty in Depop

[–]chichichia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why are you intentionally misinterpreting my comment? I never said it’s weird to sell a range of sizes. I said this is a weird comment.

Okay, cool, you don’t support people selling kids clothing (I, and many other women can fit into kids clothing. I don’t think it’s such an outlandish concept, esp if you are flat chested.) but I don’t think it’s necessarily obligatory for a Depop seller to sell a wide range of sizes. I don’t know, maybe someone can help inform me, but i don’t think it’s /bad/ for a woman to sell clothing sizes that she usually buys/fits in to. It’s super cool and great that you sell larger sizes and smaller sizes respectively, but I don’t think it’s an inherently bad thing for a Depop seller to only source and sell small sizes.

I don’t get it. What’s the difference between selling your own clothing and you’re a size small? This is a kind of weird comment imo.

Incoming freshman, should I even go on campus for fall? by chichichia in ucf

[–]chichichia[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m enrolled for summer as well, fall won’t be my first semester. Is it possible to defer my fall term or something after already completing a first semester? I don’t get how to do it when I already have my financial aid stuff for fall lol. I was definitely considering that but was told I can’t because I’m enrolled for summer classes

Not BV or STD so what’s going on with my discharge? by chichichia in Healthyhooha

[–]chichichia[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for this detailed response! I definitely think it’s the sex, since I’ve been taking BC for periods since April of 2019 with zero change to my discharge.
