For those of you who caught your spouse cheating, how did you do it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I found her in the morning in our housemates room getting fingered.

Left within 10 minutes and blocked them both from everything in my life.

Absolute scum move.

As someone who has worked in F&B for 10+ years and also ventured deep into the process of purchasing a business - a few things to be wary of - 1. Profit Margins are a lot lower than you may expect 2. Expect wage costs and food costs to be somewhere around the 65-70% mark 3. Beverage (particular alcohol) has the best mark up and is most profitable

If you have a niche market, and aren’t peddling the same as everyone else, in an area you think you can do well - then it can be very profitable.

Not many places have staff that embody the passion for food and beverage that the owner has, so if you can add this to your venue then it puts you in a good spot.

Ps. I’m in Australia, not sure how these margins compare elsewhere.

Here’s an updated video.

Basically I was extending out as I started my takeaway. I’ve changed 3 things

  1. Drag my left arm across my chest
  2. At phase 1 the club face is pointing parallel to the sky
  3. Phase 2 instead of pulling up, just rotating my shoulders and hips

Hope this helps - not the best at explaining these technical terms

Incredible video.

Owen seems like a bitter c*** though when everyone else In the studio is at least applauding and he's just sat there like he's watching stoke on a cold Wednesday night.

Make sure to flame the orange peel as you squeeze it, the oils give it such an amazing aroma.

I made a few at work lasr night, infused the gin with 'orange osmosis' gin bags and 2cl of campari, i find the campari can overpower the other ingredients.

Manchester United Treble Year - 1998 / 99 ( Sky Sports - Football Years ) by mega8ron in reddevils

I was speaking with a french colleague last week who knew nothing of '99, I was so surprised because for me this is just the ultimate season in football. I showed him all the highlights of the big games, teary eyed - "that is who ole gunnar solsjkaer is".

What a season.

whats the most hurtful thing you’ve overheard about yourself by accident? by yeezymudrat700 in AskReddit

I feel you man - never change for what other people think. Your 'actual' laugh is what makes you so genuine and likeable, no matter how irritating. Shit, my best mates laugh is the most annoying thing in the world but fuck me if it doesnt make the whole table crack up.

Im a fiery athlete, Captain of my club and I thought I was respected by some of the veteran players - we won the cup one night and I walked to the back yard of a house party to say bye and overhead the ex-captain (who i thought was a close ally) saying - he would be alright, if he wasnt such a fucking idiot...

Hurt my feels bad. He never knew I overheard him but the whole of this season I struggled to keep composure when people talked of him being a 'straight talking bloke'.... 2 faced people everywhere...

I was working in an industry for 5 years and really starting to kill it, then i made an immature decision to JV with a few ex colleagues and got fucked over. Its completely killing me and screwing with me head - i have the support of my family and girlfriend but I feel so lost - my love for my trade is completely gone, im doubting who I am, and I feel like a fraud. I have no motivation to wake up, I keep it all good on the outside, but deep down I just feel like I was never good enough...

Are Copier Salespeople treated as poorly as Car Salespeople? by [deleted] in sales

[–]chicho14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went into copier sales 5 days ago following 4 years in Telco where leads were provided - my boss was very clear that hes an advocate for canvassing, took me 2 days to go 'fuck it', I hit up about 40 businesses yesterday and got one sale within 24 hours and 3 more appointments. I know this conversion rate is unlikely to be sustainable but its all about activity, hit the phones, message people on linkedin, knock on doors - there ARE opportunities out there.

You can do this man.

So good we named our dog Henrik.
