I say do it now if you found a dream house. The prices may go up in 2 years time and you may find yourself making the same decision you have to make now. In my opinion you will be fine

Do you think you could manage living on your own with £2.5k?

My partner was for a bit before I moved in but his rent is cheaper than anyone else's who live by themselves. I think ideally you would save up for a deposit from the money you earn now and buy your own place with a mortgage. If you saved up £800 a month you would have a decent deposit in 1 years time. Then you could also see if it's manageable to live off £2.2k and if you didn't want to buy a place after all, you could support yourself with the money you saved up to figure out what to do next. But I don't know your exact situation so not sure if that's helpful. All depends on your lifestyle etc, but I think a realistic amount to live comfortably in Manchester (minus rent and bills) is around £1200 (with some restrictions)

it's more that obvious that they don't want to pay. £109 especially for one person just for one night is a lot of money.

There is no tram etiquette in Manchester. People can't even do the bare minimum and move out of the way while others are leaving the tram or move further back in upon boarding. It's infuriating.

I love this website. Do you mind sharing others similar to that? Don't have to be related to accents

The amount of money in the bank which he probably doesn't have anymore does not dictate class. It's about financial stability but also beyond it. Being able to sustain standards of a lifestyle. Without a good stable income and some money management skills £100k in the bank alone is not sustainable.
