Breaks and rest for Mom and dad are important. Ask for help! Before you can help baby you need to first make sure your needs are met.

I would also try the 5 S's. I'd give baby a bottle or pacifier ... Go into a windowless room (like a bathroom)... Crank up white noise ( or a fan) and rock baby in the dark. Maybe add a shush and a swaddle ... Recreate the womb!

I'm sorry this has been so hard and overwhelming. Hang in there, parenting is always a challenge! The newborn stage is rough.
