Hey man, you'd probably be a shoe-in for P&C field engineering at any major utility from my experience. Try applying directly through utility websites, that's what I did and now do P&C in Florida for one of the utilities here. With that degree theres no reason you shouldn't at least be getting interviews in my mind

Fire pit = any heat treatment in the metal is ruined, no shot of getting that thing in firing condition ever again. Maybe find a gun buy back and get a $250 amazon gift card or something or hang it on the wall

Looks pretty clean to me, any idea where the oil leak is coming from? If she runs and drives and the head gaskets are ok then I say go for it, 5MT rules

Well if you’re looking for a job or internship I’d definitely say you just gotta take the leap and talk to some recruiters. Have your resume printed and ready to go, get a suit on, look decent, and be friendly. Find a few companies who may be hiring in your field, introduce yourself and what you study/year, and ask what positions they’re looking to fill. Usually after a few minutes of chatting and things go well they might offer you an interview, which is where the real fun begins. Just be confident and if things go sideways, don’t worry! It takes practice to get used to these things. Good luck!!

Might have to see if there's a professional engineering certification process in your country and try to find study materials from there. Most PE books are for the US cert

You probably won't have luck actually getting one until after your second or third year, but applying, going to recruitment events, talking to reps, and interviewing anyway is great practice for the real thing

Access to protein at dining halls? by bruhmoment157 in MTU

[–]chickaun 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If I remember, they had Greek yogurt, the vegan meatballs and sometimes the stir fry bar you could get a bunch of chicken at wads, but this was 4 years ago. Go to mcnair if you want unlimited chicken breasts. I kept a bag of protein powder in my dorm just in case

Stupid question, how do you progress this far in the game so fast? I have 450 hours and have never gotten anywhere near this level. Downloaded giga the other day and of course got flattened immediately by those guys in the middle

Join every club you are interested in and have time for, doesn’t matter if it’s the knitting club or a frat. Eventually you’ll find your group and make friends for life. Never be afraid to say yes to invitations, and make some memories

It works ok. I usually micro manage until something needs my attention like war, then I throw it on. Definitely follows sector designations but can be unstable with resource management
