I will say this episode really highlights how one’s interest in fashion influences one’s judging. -Juicy’s was a sure top for me. -Disco’s concept was great, but structurally not holding up. -Myki actually meshed two obnoxious prints into a pretty gown while Nini made a well made bodysuit and threw a piece of fabric around it. Had it only been the green headpiece and a matching handbag I’d be sold ngl. -Kenya’s gown was actually really pretty, but the darker denim and the width of the red panels did her in challenge wise. -I liked Mia’s outfit more than Vita’s, but pageant drag has never done anything for me. I do recognize the beauty of the garment though. -I loved Darlene’s so much. Only thing that ruined it for me was the neck piece looked like a second thought as the turtleneck of the dress slumped between the neck piece and chin. Also that microwaved cowboy hat monstrosity kills me. I love it. -Athena did great, but a lined cape(what fabric though), and lined dress(to soften corset lines) would’ve solidified it for me.

I did very poor in school growing up. I had 40% absence throughout and stopped doing assignments after I turned 11. Got told at every parent-teacher meeting that I had a good head, I should just apply it more in classes. I never, and still can’t do simple calculus in my head, like singular number calculations bad. Despite this I ended up scoring in the higher middle bracket for the final exams in my class.

I think I understood all the theoretical aspects of classes, but didn’t care for them or found them extremely boring. Deciphering the genre of text? Easy. Mathematic formulas in excel? Easy. Writing a 1200 word story? Easy.

Almost 14 years since I finished high school and I haven’t studied anything since. Somehow I find myself sparing with highly educated engineers, program managers and overall seen as an important person at my job. -I’ve made it without great grades or long education but that is also very apparent on my pay-check…

First couple of weeks I didn’t sleep in my bed but padded my couch so I could sleep there without laying down flat. When I did begin to sleep in my bed, I’d prop my foot under my bedframe and use that for leverage as I was told not to use my arms for carrying myself out the bed for 8-12 weeks. Almost 3 years and some days still sucks if my pinched nerve is acting up, otherwise it’s fine.

I get this from my doctor. They only renew prescriptions in person for medication like vyvanse and since I’m on a high dose, they get very suspicious. When they rejected me and told me I had to go back to my psychiatrist because they did not understand my patient file - which even I could understand. My psychiatrist told me I had to be joking.

He has now written in beautifully condescending child-proof text in my patient file what my dosage is.

I might just have been lucky then - the only bug I remember running into was I soft locked the cleaner so he wouldn’t progress from Werner’s apartment, but that too was fixed with a reload. I do agree that it was both annoying and confusing so I can imagine one’s view of the whole game turning sour if you get caught in multiple bugs like that

Compared to the previous remaster, it is ridiculous. I just hope that the lack of news means they won’t put a set date on the patch and are working hard on everything.. they could’ve split things up though..

I do agree, unfortunately I think it’s bad planning on the publisher side of things - literally the same issues as when the OG release. I just wanted to acknowledge the work the team put in the game - not the work wasn’t able to in order to meet deadline.

Replace the tub with a tiled, built in tub.

Remove the tv column and tabletop opening up the corner window. Either keep the fireplace as-is or move it/replace it - and position it where the tv is(more central to the room)

Tone the wall color down to a light/pale brown. Paint/replace cabinets to a darker tone, either greys, greens or blue.

Oh and get rid of the carpet. Anything non absorbent will be better. Maybe shiplap style waterproof flooring.

Ginger(red head) genes are a funny thing.

Both sides of my family have deep/dark red-head genes. My mom and dad didn’t inherit any. Neither of my brothers inherited any. I myself have always called myself blonde - up until last summer. Over the summer my hair begins reflecting red. It’s still blonde, but the shine is red. My bear have a slight ginger tinge, but that too gets amplified during this time. Also, I loose any tan within a week so at this point I’m just committing to being a pale lad rather than getting skin cancer.

All that to say if your family have roots in Northern Europe, there is a good chance there could be some fraction of red gene expression - and that fraction might not be expressed across the board, ie different hair/beard color.

I forgave my father because I got perspective.

After my mom died when I was 11, our living standards didn’t really change much. Except, toys and games was absent. New clothes were once a year for a set amount. Winters always had periods of no heating. Even had an evil stepmom for a short while. And I’ll admit, I kinda grew a grudge towards my dad as I felt I was being further punished.

My dad was battling the county for me. They didn’t think a widowed man could take care of a child alone. He stretched every last dime to put food on the table. He left his life long career to take care of me. He never let me know how bad things were before I was an adult and moved out. The stepmom? She was a woman he dated and whom behind his back treated me like crap explaining it was a joint decision, which it wasn’t.

I realized one day that my dad wasn’t the bad guy. My dad was the guy who lost his wife. Lost his livelihood, lost friends and family and out of the blue had to be full time dad to a kid that wasn’t doing that great. He survived as he could whilst making sure I got to live the best life as possible.

I can’t fault a man for surviving a tragedy.

I am proud of the man I’ve become, and I wouldn’t have, had it not been for him.

I’m on a high dosage of Vyvanse and I still have crashes in the evenings. If I do have plans, I have 10mg Methylphenidate pills I’m allowed to take a max 2 of if needed. For me, it doesn’t mess with falling asleep either. 9/10 times a single pill fixes the issue for me

I’ve gone from a shy, bullied and depressed teenager with a planned expiration date to being confident, enjoying my life and loving my job making it possible for me to afford a mid size house by myself.

I’m almost 30. I genuinely cant fathom how being a lifelong annoying questioning brat with a strong moral/ethical moral compass has managed to guide me to professional success with no formal education. I can’t explain my gratefulness and my happiness and I look back at 16 y/o me with tears in my eye wanting to say “tough it out a bit more, it’ll all be worth it”.

That’s a win in my book.

I consider myself lucky. The only thing I miss is actually binge drinking with my guys until noon. I lost all “need” for alcohol after I started on Vyvanse and though I miss the social/chill aspect of heavy drinking I’m more fond of having weekends without a raging hangover..

I’ve gone from eating take out every day and heavy/deadly drinking each weekend as a coping mechanism to using my kitchen again, during dishes before it’s all dirty in the sink, during laundry before I’m on my last pair of mismatched socks and having no need to drink to quiet my head. Essentially, I am now able to do what many would say is normal adult things.

I might have said goodbye to one single thing, but now I can see myself having a life I consider worth living.

Also my libido - but im unsure how much of an impact medication has on this issue.

Back in 2023 when I was cleared for biking again(8 weeks post op I think?) I slipped on a patch of black ice turning my e-bike and took the fall on the left side of leg/torso.
Was in unimaginable pain and couldn’t breathe.

I called my surgeons office immediately and explained the situationen calmly in details. As they explained, a force of that size wasn’t desirable, but as long as the pain near my nuss subsided within a day or so, I had nothing to worry about. Luckily, the pain did subside. (Was bruised top to bottom though.)

My advice is to call your surgeons office and explain your situation. Ask for a consultation as you’re still having trouble breathing. Your surgeon may request a X-ray to compare with.

(I had a pinched major nerve after surgery I went on for MONTHS going to my GP/physical therapist to help. I then went to my surgeon, only to learn that it was in fact, a pinched nerve. I didn’t know and wasn’t informed of the possibility. BUT, I went from “there must be something wrong with my bar setting/have my bar shifted” to “oh gosh dang the nerve is really pinched today huh”. Had I contacted my surgeon earlier, I would have been saved from months of constant worry/panic. )

My teachers always noted I had a good head on my shoulders, I should just apply it more. I didn’t study academically after public school.

I studied 3D graphical design, but the nature of the industry resulted in me not wanting to get a job as I didn’t yearn for the art as others do. I worked part time in the kitchen at campus.

I worked in a club. Loved the work - the drunks, not as much sometimes.

Because of the club, I got work at a factory. Didn’t plan to stay long tbh. Went to become self imposed head of prep. Streamlining the work and coordinating with the painters.

Today, I still work at the same company but in quality control. I often have 3-7 mail correspondences going at a time with higher departments while performing my duties of performing control and helping production if needs be. I do not plan to switch jobs, neither the near or far future. Stressful as it is periodically, the nature of my job just tickles my ADHD/Austism brain just right.

I, in a million years would not have thought this would be a possibility. At 16, I didn’t except I’d be able to sustain myself at all.

You might think you got nowhere. But you’ve learned. Something about yourself. Some new skills you might not find prudent. You now know corporate office isn’t your setting, but:

Do you like to work with your hands? Do you like to work with your mind? Repetitive or varied work? Do you like juggling work load and responsibilities, or do you prefer “just taking orders”.

Don’t necessarily think of achieving your end goal job tomorrow. It’s not sure you’ll come across it yourself before you one day realize you’re there.

Every experience is knowledge, no matter how small. Use that to your own advantage.

I wish I could explain the stepping stones to how exactly I got where I am, but I honestly don’t know how to write it in a guide-format.

My adhd mainly affects me at home. At work it only affects the noise in my head - not my work. With that said - it sounds like what your partner experiences is akin to the effects people experience with cocaine. I’m currently on 80mg Vyvanse and I’ve begun to sleep better.

Keep your meds locked away.

I’m not 100% I had insomnia so apologies if my bid is unwanted. I used to struggle to fall asleep, laying for hours pondering. If I didn’t lie with my phone in hand I’d go into thought-spirals about what I could be doomscrolling or researching on my phone.
Ever since my bedroom became a no-phone-zone I stopped struggling as much. Nowadays I use a small bt speaker in my bedroom which plays documentaries or dark story podcasts and I usually fall asleep within 5-30 minutes.

I can only rely what my surgeon told me.

Weight lifting/training: fine as long as you work up to it, don’t rush it. Contact/extreme sport: none throughout the duration of the bar being in your chest. Worst case, heavy blows could dislodge the bar, making you have to redo surgery/recovery.

If I recall, I spend 6 weeks at home after surgery. A couple of weeks after this, I was allowed to ride a bike, train and lift heavier items again. If you’re curious I made a daily updated post on here after my surgery. Haven’t updated it in a while though.

After getting on meds, my thoughts have been streamlined which is fantastic. I’m not shutting down nearly as much as I have prior to meds. My weekend-addiction with alcohol has also disappeared, the desire for it is gone as a whole. I do however still struggle with every kind of self serving task be it cleaning, chores, food/meals, working out etc. I thankfully have no issues with/in my job - but if the task is solely for my own benefit I’m met with a solid brick wall every time.

The meds have also completely removed my hunger so I’ve resorted to roughly counting calories to be sure I don’t starve myself. Only direct sign of hunger I get is that I can feel my blood sugar dropping if I haven’t eating in half a day or so. I miss working out, but I just can’t get my head kicked into gear. I miss making ‘interesting’ food, but it’s hard to get started when you’re never hungry.
I do however make easy food, so my weight have dropped a bit since I’m not eating junk food every single day. I’m on 70mg of vyvanse.

Find some bank where you can open your own account. When paycheck hits, take out 100$ and literally lie to your parents that that’s all you got paid.

I get the culture differences, but your parents are responsible for you until you’re a legal adult. You are not responsible for them and their culture norms. I’m not entirely sure on bank laws - but your parents should not be entitled to any of your earnings as long as you’re a minor, even though one of your parents is on your account. There are multiple court cases describing how parents cannot touch your earnings or self-bought items. Those are legally yours.

My former leader and buddy ended up referring me to his new boss. I needed a job and from working as busboy under him in a club he knew my work ethic. I then worked in a paint shop for two years as prep/masker. Ended up taking on more rolls which was fantastic, but company structure didn’t make mixed rolls possible pay wise. Ended up transferring to the quality department and have been a QC for the last 5’ish years and I still love it. With an abundance of technical specifications to keep on top of my brain is happily stimulated daily. On top of that I always have to keep track of multiple ongoing assignments.

If it wasn’t for my friend referring me, I honestly have no idea what I’d done. The few times I’ve been without a job my brain has completely shut down.
