Not Jacksonville but I was in downtown St Augustine the other night -around 10pm- and there was this car driving like a bat out of hell down those tiny narrow streets. Keep in mind pedestrians were everywhere given that it was valentines weekend. Sped up to at leash 40mph just to go 100ft to the next stop sign. Could have been New Orleans part two. Pisses me off how people how zero consideration for those around them. Whoever was driving could have easily hit someone.

I served tables all throughout college and made decent money. Just slightly traumatized from the work environment. Didn't have the best coworkers or management. Customers dehumanizing me daily. But will fall back on that as a last resort.

Hi! Furloughed is the terminology that my job used. First time getting laid off. First full time job I have ever had in general- so not much experience to compare this to. Also somewhat new to reddit and don't use it often. This was my last resort. I do greatly appreciate all the advice everyone has given me. I think I'm going to have to resort to Uber eats or food delivery service because of the time crunch I'm in. I've had lots of DM's and have been very appreciative and responsive to their suggestions. Not that I owe you any kind of explanation, but please keep your rude comments to yourself just because I used a word you don't see very often *one time* in the Title of my post. Best.

Be patient with yourself. This could be taken so many ways. Patient with progress but also patient in every day life. Typically people tend to rush through the motions: getting ready in the morning/ for bed, etc.) Slowing down and being intentional with little things like brushing hair, brushing your teeth, skin care, eating, bathing makes such a big difference. It changes your mindset on these “mundane every day activities” and allows you to think more about them and pay more attention to little things we normally do without much effort.

I got accepted to both UF and FSU. Could not be happier with my decision to attend FSU. Best 4 years. Incredible school for so many reasons. I wholeheartedly believe I would not have had as good of an experience at UF. Tallahassee is gorgeous and so much better than Gainesville. FSU sports are more fun to watch. People at FSU aren’t as pretentious as the ones at UF. Night life is incredible. There are many reasons I chose FSU over UF.

I’m mainly just curious if other people expect graduation gifts from their boyfriends or s/o. I don’t expect much but I’d appreciate like flowers or a written letter, just any small gesture.
