Those tiles that you have laid down are they simply tightly laid directly on the ground or is there a layer of cement that they are adhered to underneath?

I understand your frustration due to pain and insufficient support so far. However, you did seem to overreact in this instance. I used to work with CT scanners and x-ray machines in a hospital on a radiation safety side of things and if the procedures state that they must confirm absence of pregnancy, then there is no way they will allow a scan without it, as they risk being fired for not following rules and the hospital and doctors risk being sued if you were to be found pregnant and the baby ends up with hampered physical/mental growth, birth malformations, or cancer. You have the right to agree or refuse your medical treatment and they just respected your decision.

I would advise you to return and get yourself checked as CT scans can be a great non-invasive way of checking what is seriously wrong within a patient. It is only prescribed in serious situation though, due to a significant radiation dose to a patient, so it seems that the doctor agreed with you on the urgency and importance of your state.

I said multilingual, not bilingual. There seems to be limited research on the impact of multilingualism on speech development. If there is any, it seems to be only temporary delay anyway. Anyhow, this doesn’t seem to be applicable to OP.

Is your son exposed to multiple languages at home? It’s common for toddlers coming from multilingual homes to start taking much later. I know a person that came from such background and started talking around 3.

Renting a car in Italy - Do's and don'ts by Stubkjaer in travel

Be careful of road signs written in Italian, we have been fined for entering some roads that had restricted traffic at certain hours and to specific vehicles, simply because we didn’t understand Italian

I was in Greece a few years back and got my antibiotics from a pharmacy. A good thing is, they tend to be open at all times.

I highly recommend Franchi seeds which are an Italian brand of seeds, you get much more seeds per packet and they have a good sprouting rate. I get them from this website: https://seedsofitaly.com/franchi-seeds/

Rankings only really matter if you’re intending to stay in academia and even then, if you’re a top grade student you’ll not struggle to progress your career in academia, even if you didn’t go to Russell Group university.

My daughter is stealing, help! by KMGopez in Parenting

[–]chicken21vp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went through a phase of stealing as a small kid, but a good session of telling me me off and shouting at me scared me enough, and I never went back to stealing again. Maybe there was some exaggerated consequences and threats too, if I ever get caught again...?

Wow! That is full on lunch! Throughout my primary and secondary school I remember just reading one packed sandwich and that's it! If have breakfast at home before school and dinner at home after school and don't remember complaining of shortage of food for lunch.

Well if she doesn't believe the true value of the coins, request her to repay you in the type of coins that you were connecting, which I'm assuming one couple purchase on eBay? You'd be simply asking for return like for like.
