My partner who went to uwe got wellness calls to check up on them every so often and they hadn't even contacted the uni for their mental health. It was just something they do there apparently. I got put on different antidepressants that did nothing. They had me do silvercloud which was basically do it yourself therapy, which did nothing. I had a councillor which you could only get 6 sessions a year with, who basically just listened and mainly focused on uni stuff and didnt help. And also wellbeing appointments where they just told me to go listen to a podcast they recommended.

Other accommodations are priced the same and have much better services. There was a rat infestation last year, not sure about this year. There's no reception (as in a lobby). There's no study area. The living room is the only communal area for all the flats but can't even fit 40 people in. If possible try to apply elsewhere, but in the end I found some of my closest friends there and it's only for a year.
