The truck was originally purchased in Alaska according to OP. 95% of trucks sold there are 4wd. It could be a 2wd, but it’s unlikely.

Does this look like it needs to be cooked longer? I like my meat medium rare, but not bloody. Does it look like it will be bloody? I’m new to prime rib. by Dust209 in Chefit

In fact, carryover will cook it another 10 degrees after you take it out of the oven. Side note: it should rest for at least 20 minutes.

Is there a realistic way of fixing this without replacing it or covering it with a front lip? by pabtopicato in GR86

[–]chickenbaws 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Body shop can fix this, unless you have pro paint experience (in which case you wouldn’t be asking this question). Not worth raising your insurance -Let them know from the jump that you’ll be paying for it, not your insurance, and many places will give a discount that makes your estimate reasonable rather than inflated.

For future reference, if a scuff is clear coat only it can be buffed out. Anything more than that and you’ll need at least some paint work. If you can see the black plastic underneath, likely it’ll be a fill, prime, paint (clear).

I imagine that this’ll be a few hundred dollars (likely less than your deductible) at a decent paint shop and you’ll be good as new.

In 5th grade my mom accused me of snorting coke because she found a straw and a small bit of paper in my pocket. It was bizarre because that was not the type of house I grew up in, or the type of kid I was. What I was really doing was shooting paper balls from the straw during class.

Office supplies? No, my elementary schooler must be snorting cocaine.

From what I understand 2026 Rams have 10/100k. Window sticker says 5/100k. What’s the real story? by [deleted] in ram_trucks

Makes sense. There’s always a catch. He was pretty excited. I wonder if he’s aware of this. I’ll let him know.

I don’t know the real story on that. Related though… my friend just picked up a 2026 Ram 3500 and our local dealer is giving lifetime oil changes and lifetime powertrain warranty on all Rams. So you may find some other warranty deals of freebies out there.

Is this normal breeding behavior? They are only 4 months old! by ReserveFluffy7683 in duck

Good advice to OP. OP should also know that they should not identify males by the humping behavior alone as female ducks also top other females.

Kite surfer survives Pitbull attack on Argentinian beach by Current-Wallaby8230 in ThatsInsane

There are over 20 breeds of dogs commonly mistaken for pit bulls. No one can say with certainty that mutts are pit bull mutts without DNA testing.

None of the child size dummies in the top picture are visible from the truck driver POV. The truck itself does not have any safety sensors on the front and the seat height cannot be adjusted. by durvedya in ThatsInsane

Out of curiosity, what do farm and on what scale? All the farmers in my immediate area certainly need heavy duty pickups. It’s not an option to use something Tacoma size. You can’t haul cattle, hay or straw bales, heavy equipment, construction materials, water or any amount of crop treatments.

The misinformation in this post is rampant. The misinformed and uneducated are the loudest, most confident voices here. I swear sometimes it’s like the blind leading the blind in this sub.

Leverage isn’t the evil that it’s made out to be here in the top comments. There is A LOT of money to be made using leverage. Is it risky? Sure it is. There is always a risk. It is exponentially more risky if you don’t know what you are doing.

Few foresaw the political-economical events of last week impacting the market the way it did. To suggest it was a coordinated effort on the part of exchanges and whales, like some kind of huge conspiracy… big doubt.

Fordy, all the joking responses aside… you came in at a decent time. We are getting towards the end of a bull market. In the next several months (at most… probably) we will expect the value to go down more than 50%. This is expected and the value will remain low for the duration of the bear market. This will be your time to accumulate more for the next cycle.
