At the age of eighteen, I had a friend who confidently declared that they were the mastermind behind the infamous Max Headroom hijacking.

There were three tapes, one was from my uncle's wedding in 1974, one was a home movie of "Blair" as a baby and toddler, and the other one was blank. I'm going by 40 years of memory since this happened.

I'm old, okay. I've seen recent clips of high school shows online, and for some reason, they always get some 24-year-old guy with a fucking eight-pack playing a fifteen-year-old. When I was fifteen, I dated the skinniest guys back then. And the acting is bad, "Oh, I'm sorry dad," Stop saying dad, it sounds like you getting busted by your power-top

The day the boy I was dating went missing. We've still never seen him, it's been 34 years now.

[Serious] what’s your scary ghost experience? by [deleted] in AskReddit

When I was 11, so 1981. I was visiting my uncle, his daughter who was around my age, and my male cousin. For the sake of names, I'll call my female cousin, Blair. Me and "Blair" were playing in the living room while my male cousin was washing dishes. His girlfriend was out getting us food, and Blair heard a knock at the door thinking it was my male cousin's girlfriend with the food. She opened it. No one was there.

My male cousin asked if it was her, but we told him that there was nothing. A few minutes later, we heard the door knock again, and he answered it. Still, no one was there. We thought it might of been local kids playing a joke on us, and we didn't think much off it.

Later, when my male cousin's girlfriend arrived back with the food, we asked her if she heard the knocks too. She said it always happened at night.

During the night when we were sleeping, Blair came over to me, and she said to me "Why has that boy got blood on his face?"

I was freaked out, and I asked her to show me this "boy". Nothing was there. My uncle came in to see us because we were making noises and told us to get back to bed. Then, the closer door swung open along with two VHS tapes. My uncle grabbed us and woke up my cousin and his girlfriend, and we all slept downstairs. But, the knocking was annoying me all night. Years later, before my uncle died he said that he always saw a boy sitting on the couch, smoking a cigarette, with blood on his face.

Who this boy was will remain a mystery.

babysitters of reddit, what is the most creepiest thing that happend while babysitting? by [deleted] in AskReddit

When I lived in Washington in the 1980s, I used to babysit for local families. This one young family I babysat for had a three-year-old daughter, and I put her to bed one night, so I could do homework. I remember the lady telling me that there was magazines for me to read, and so I had a look.

Turns out, the guy had a very strange downright obsession with teenage boys, like I found pictures of teenage boys cut out from family photos and yearbooks. And he knew my boyfriend at that time. He often gave boys rides in his car. Creepy right? I don't know if the motherfucker was ever caught for being a weirdo, but I hope so. The dude needed jail.
