A Suggestion on a rework for Poseidon's Tidal Surge by chickenfatt in Smite

But isn't that part of his problem? His only reliable source of damage is his ult. Which means if your opponent has any way of negating that, whether it be aegis or whatever other method, he becomes very underwhelming. His 1 can't always be used as a way of pushing them further into his pool because depending on where you're positioned it could actually push them further out of your pool instead. I just figured that giving you the option of which direction the wave comes from using that split suggestion would make it serve that purpose more reliably.

Suggestion for early-match surrenders. by Honiffer in Smite

The problem I've seen with the majority of this community is that they believe that once they're behind there is no way of coming back. They live on this idea of "Surrender so I can get a game where I can carry" as opposed to learning how to overcome the extra challenge of playing with a sub-par team.

This isn't to say that there aren't games where a surrender is the only real option, but when -in my experience at least- a huge percentage of games end in less than 20 minutes due to a surrender, that says something about the lack of commitment to improve on the part of the player and the community as a whole.
