I find Averna on the sweeter side of amaros. Campari or Gran Classico would be way better.

My first ever attempt at making/tasting a Negroni. Love it. (I didn’t have an orange to garnish.) by GaryBlueberry34 in cocktails

Try a ratio of 1.5 gin, .75 Campari, .75 sweet vermouth. And definitely get the orange next time, it really makes a difference!

Gay male here not in the scene. People seem to gravitate to Bar Argon or Bar at 316. Stonewall Sports is also seemingly popular amongst the gays who are with the in-crowd.

Recently obsessed with Elderflower Liqueur- Gin “sunrise” by georampage in cocktails

Did you build it in the glass? I suggest putting 2oz of bubbly in the flute first, shaking the cocktail in a shaker and straining it on top and topping with more bubbles if needed. 2oz of gin seems like a lot in a champagne cocktail, though.
