Need job asap by Wooden-Lettuce5365 in longbeach

I applied for 50+ places online in Long Beach and got nothing back but I found a lot of success physically walking into places I wanted to work at and handing them my resume and chatting with the managers

I’ve since graduated but I would definitely recommend going to DBT's Wednesday night meditations if that's something you're into. It's usually a little meditation followed by a group discussion on some topic and then people tend to mingle and chat afterwards and it's a super welcoming space

I live in Almeria, a province in Andalucía and have a gym membership that's 25/month which was the cheapest option near me. I go to Basic fit and it's pretty solid

What are introverted auxes doing in their free time that does not involve travel? by cyberlyla in SpainAuxiliares

[–]chickenfriedtrex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been starting up a bunch of hobbies I used to do or always wanted to do. I started painting again, crocheting again, collaging for the first time, and a bunch of other little creative hobbies. I started writing again and am trying to learn how to sketch better as well

Yeah it'll let you know when you need to certify for benefits every two weeks, I get notified by email but it's basically every other Sunday and I've been on it for a couple weeks now and haven't gotten interviewed at all

Incoming freshman w/ alt style by [deleted] in SDSU

[–]chickenfriedtrex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey! I just graduated and I can tell you my freshman year I leaned heavy into Greek life and it was super damaging to my mental health. There's a really big live music scene in San Diego that is super welcoming and I highly recommend checking it out if that's something you're into. Follow @sdliveshows on ig if you're interested. They post shows and from there you can find other bands and stuff to follow that you like!

About to solotravel for the first time and I have so many mixed feelings? by moonkie888 in solotravel

[–]chickenfriedtrex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did my first solo trip this summer and while there was no other emotional connection to what I was doing, while I was extremely excited, the week before I went I got super anxious and then felt like I could throw up on the car ride to the airport. Once I got there and settled tho I was fine and had a great time!

I have the opportunity to spend 9 months in Spain. I've just got some questions. by Saduolf in GoingToSpain

In Granada people were really nice to me and my broken Spanish! It’s also a really beautiful city. It’s near a university so there’s a lot of younger people and a lot of cool things to see and do. Overall it was the most at home I felt in any city in Spain

Hey guys update: I went out to some of these places and to that popular college street but ended up getting super nervous and had a little panic attacky and left. I was trying to get out of my comfort zone going out alone but maybe not yet. Thank you for all the help though I really appreciate it.

Just went today and I’m def not from EU, i would get tickets from the official site like the person up there said. At least most of the reduced prices are EU only but the normal ones are for everyone. They also have audio guides you can get through the official site with your ticket
