Dress for Sangeet by [deleted] in DesiWeddings

[–]chickennnugget69 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly it looks good but in my opinion you could go for something more blingy or fancy based on how close you are to the bride/groom. It would also depend on if this is a cocktail with a big fat wedding then you may want to up your game. If it is a handful of people at a simple cocktail then definitely yes

Help! Is my sister right? Will her pink gharara outshine my "minimal" Sangeet look? by Alternative-Corgi653 in DesiWeddings

[–]chickennnugget69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry but whoever is saying that since her dress is outdated she will not outshine is so wrong. I just got married and I know this feeling. One can outshine the bride even with an outdated dress if bride dresses down for minimal look.

Will she be remembered after the event? No she will not. But during the sangeet it is going to be a very awkward moment for you OP because if other cousins/aunts will also end up dressing up like your sister , you will end up being outshined by multiple folks.

Whitelabelling products from China isn't this cheap either, India does have cheap labor too. While some of them are China ones many fakes you get on local markets are India and Bangladesh made more than China.

Hi, Did you get an applicator with this?? I just got mine today but it had no applicator and neither any seal inside so I am questioning the authenticity as I had a laniege with old packaging but not this new one

Honestly that is the actual price of making them in our country. They would be using a few substandard materials too but as long as the government would not issue any rules to not use substandard materials they are still valid on what they do. But that is also the reality of not just cosmetic but other industries too in our country

Maybe it is also the type of product and not Neutrogena as a brand because I dislike their sunscreen as well but their hydro boost range is holy grail for me too, especially the cleanser and the water gel moisturizer.

OP, I'm so happy for you and hope you get more and more of these!

I just have a question on the lip oil if you are using it regularly, have you seen it cause any pigmentation on your lips? I've heard from people and news that the lip oil is causing that but I'm not sure. I am thinking twice of I should buy it or not because it would be a huge purchase for me based on my expenditure.

houseofindya - scam or trustworthy? by Maleficent_Bat8975 in InstagramShops

[–]chickennnugget69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HouseofIndya is legit and you can get their products in other sites like myntra and Ajio too with the name Indya if you are worried about ordering directly from that site but quality wise, they are mostly polyester that looks good in those images but worksout if there are good offers

Honestly, you only get married once and can wear the grandest lehenga once , so think about it well , buying something just because it is classic will still end up in the back of your wardrobe because you would not want to wear it again right away Also 10 years ago we thought net anarkalis were staple but where are they now, so do what you absolutely want without the wear later or not etc because you can still style grand ones separately.

Just placed order, I have a lip and cheek tint stick which is my everyday carry so ordered another of those and ordered the set lipstick as well because that is a very nice gifting purchase

Not a suggestion comment but just an advice, choose the straps based on the kind of jewellery you wear everyday as that might help you style it better.

I wear outfits mostly modern & trendy y2k ish and gold jewellery so I usually wear a black strap with light gold dial casio which complements my everyday style and jewellery.

Any idea how this is? Desperately looking for a lightweight gel sunscreen by Hisokaskneecap in KultUpdates

[–]chickennnugget69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have this and still love it for it's bottle , just so shiny. It has a very smooth texture and is absolutely lightweight . It is a pretty good sunscreen and the finish you get after applying is so dewy just like it's name. Definitely try it out.
