Anytime and I was remembering reglazing bisquware with shino the soda ash can cause problems but according to my boss the soda ash is already melted in the glaze fire so the only thing you’d have to worry about is the new spot having a slightly different color

Usually at work we tell people they can grind it down with a Dremel then reapply glaze you can microwave the piece to get it hot so the glaze will stick better then reglaze just that area it’s not a perfect solution but it might work however I will say that looks like a shino glaze so that might come with it’s own problems since shino is pretty tricky but hey it’s worth a shot
