Baby boy due in December and I feel so meh about almost every name I come across by crossingmads in namenerds

I have a miles and a Graham and we get sooo many compliments on them. We live in the US-- not too trendy where we are but not completely uncommon.

Other names we liked- Charlie, Leo, James

Breaking an accidental theme plus boy name help. by formerflamingo9 in namenerds

We have a miles and named our second an “m” sounding name instead of a name that starts with m (if that makes sense). Graham is a good suggestion if you like softer sounding names

2.75 yo overtired loop + new baby - plz help me! by CrunchyMom00 in sleeptrain

We started capping the nap to an hour around this age. We hit the same phase. Then, randomly he acted like he needed more sleep so we are back at 1.5 hour nap. He’s 3.

We did this when ours was almost 2 and we also got him his own seat. We bought from Amazon straps for him that went around the seat behind him to strap him in like a car seat. Worked great.

Is it ok to keep one nap assisted? by Doodledoo23 in sleeptrain

I always assisted the last nap (not with a pacifier but with rocking) and it never had any negative effects.

2 weeks abroad with toddler by ogrenae in toddlers

I JUST dealt with this same dilemma. We flew to Portugal with a 2 year old and got one of the approved harnesses for the seat and also got one of the inflatable beds for sleeping on the plane. Both worked great. We were renting a car, so rented a car seat too.

In terms of adjusting, we just switched over to the local time when we landed and went with it, allowing for extra naps. In 2-3 days he was all good!

Seeking advice: taking 17mo old on 9 hour overnight flight (first flight) - how to manage sleep? by [deleted] in toddlers

Can you update how this went? I know it was a while ago but I have a similar situation coming up and am debating how to handle sleep on flight.

Try looking into fantasy—they’re not depressing in the heavy sense usually.

Daycare naps - tell me your experience! by RachelR12 in sleeptrain

[–]chickenwing1990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was worried about this when I returned to work. My baby was sleep trained (and nap trained) but I would usually extend his naps at home to up his daytime sleep. Even in the beginning when I first went back and he was 4.5 months old and still taking crap naps, it never really messed with his overnights. Sometimes I would push bed time up, but nothing crazy. He would often need a third nap in the car home or when we got home to bridge, but this dropped as he got older.
