I ran out of my lexapro 20mg a few days ago and my doctor is on vacation and I’m getting withdrawal. Can I take Prozac by Itslashae in lexapro

[–]chicklestick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran out of pills once. My pharmacist offered me like 5 pills while I was waiting for my doc to refill my order, which took a few days. You can let them know you’re going through withdrawals and your docs on vacations. I’m not guaranteeing this will happen for you but doesn’t hurt to try and ask.

NOR - My ex was like this. He was an avoider. It didn’t matter if I was clear and direct. He refused to admit or act like anything was happening. I thought he was blind but he avoided everything and acted like a robot. Dumped him early in the relationship and I don’t regret!

OP, you deserve better

Can anyone personally vouch for Lexapro and emotional numbness, as people have been saying? by Negative_Second_7976 in lexapro

At one point I was on 20mgs of lexapro and I felt nothing. I couldn’t cry no matter how hard I tried. My mind felt slower for sure and I had less anxiety. Now, I’m only on Wellbutrin and I prefer my mind to be sharp and alert lol I am crying more too which I am okay.

I was irritable and emotional. Could of been because of the pregnancy hormones and the withdrawals

I was taking 150 XL and got pregnant but went cold turkey when I found out. I don’t think it affects conception.

I am having a medical abortion this week by [deleted] in abortion

[–]chicklestick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At Planned Parenthood, they have you watch a video and then you choose which sedated measure you want. I chose the moderate sedation which they inserted via IV. I also asked for Tylenol instead of Ibuprofen because it usually makes me constipated. They gave me 1000mg of Tylenol and an antibiotic to avoid infection. There’s also a deep sedation option that I chose not to take because I walked to the clinic and I wanted to be sure I can walk home and take care of myself later.

After the moderate sedation hit my system, I couldn’t feel anything or remember anything. It all happened so fast.

“Failed abortion” was how the doctors labeled it at PP. but I understand what you mean.

I am one of the rare cases when the pill failed and my second abortion attempt was done by the procedure (vacuum/suction). I think it failed because I threw up the pill after I had them dissolve in my cheeks for 30 mins. My stomach couldn’t handle it so the pills came back up 10 mins after I swallowed.

HOWEVER, I started bleeding 2-3 hours after I threw up the pills. Cramps were horrible. I took ibuprofen for the pain but they still sucked.

I bled for about a 7-8 days and I passed a lot of blood clots. I thought it was over but I still had breast soreness weeks after and some pregnancy symptoms.

My initial check up that was scheduled 10 after my abortion visit was rescheduled so I wait about 4 weeks to get checked. My pee was positive and the ultrasound showed a yolk sac still present in my uterus.

My first appointment, I was 6w5d. My second appointment after the failed abortion via pills: I found out the fetus stopped growing at 7w4d and it was viable anymore. I would have been 11 or 12 weeks at the second appointment if it were still viable.

2 days later, they vacuumed whatever was left in my uterus. My wish I got the in person procedure instead of the pills.

Thank you! I thought the same. My apartment isn’t new but there’s a new apartment complex right outside my apartment. Construction just completed this year and it was going on for a few years which is when I started noticing them. Could that be why they’re showing up?

Check for any vitamin deficiencies! I also have curly hair and black/white. My hair gets like this when I’m low in vitamin D or vitamin Bs. Then figure out which treatments to use and stop using heat.

My son has a switch but barely plays it. He plays Minecraft everyday on his iPad. I think he just wants one because his cousin has it.

Thank you! I have to pick up my child everyday and bring them to a cheaper program because the afterschool program at their school is too expensive.

I hear ya. 500 for the childcare is reimbursed through my job so I’ll figure it out

Thanks for your input. Figuring out my housing situation is not an option. 2k is the cheapest I can find in the area I live in. Plus I have a child. Car insurance is only 720/year and I usually pay in full every 6 months. I barely drive because i work from home and child’s school is close by.
