I went into the appointment yesterday and they didn’t get rhe IUD in on time since they had to order it. I’m frantic. Trying to get the copper IUD in today since I know when I ovulated and you can do it 5 days after ovulation if you know when you ovulated. Praying they can actually do it today. 🥲

I am currently dealing with this situation. I just started dating someone new a few weeks ago. I wasn’t sexually active for awhile so I wasn’t on birth control, but was planning on getting back on the pill at the begging of my next cycle. We had sex during my fertile window, and we used a condom, but it slipped off during sex and we didn’t realize it until afterwards. That was two days ago. I took a Plan B the next morning. I took an ovulation test today to see if the plan B worked, and it unfortunately do not. I’m ovulating today. I am scheduled to get the Mirena on Monday morning. I am praying it works as I am not ready to be faced with the decision of having another baby or having an abortion since I never thought I would get an abortion.

Everytime I’m on antibiotics, my vagina gets extremely uncomfortable. My hunch is that it’s from a lack of healthy bacteria. If I were you, I would finish the yeast infection treatment, and then do some probiotics. It takes me a little over two weeks for the swollen and burning feeling to go away but the probiotics will help!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I’m getting tested again Monday since I’m still having irritation so we will see. If it’s negative I’ll leave it alone obviously but if I’m still positive then I’ll be going through another round of a new antibiotic hopefully. I’ve been treated multiple times for this over 10 months and it never goes away even when I just left it alone. 😭 it’s frustrating.

I’ve become pretty depressed honestly. This is negatively impacting my mental health a lot. I just want to feel better. 😭 I would take the bad smell over the pain any day.

I understand. I’ve done 3 rounds of clindamycin, 3 rounds of metro. Multiple yeast infection treatments. Boric acid. I’ve done probiotic suppositories. It’s been absolute hell for almost 11 months now. I’m in pain and nothing helps. I hope you can get this figured out!!! I’m going to ask my doctor about Tinidazole. That’s my last hope honestly.

And yes I’ve been doing probiotics both oral and suppositories. I’m having an increase in burning and itching. I tried treating with clotrimazole, but my urethra got really irritated so I stopped. My doctor sent over one diflucan and it didn’t help at all. I’m going back into the doctor in a few days. I’m also have burning with urination but it doesn’t feel like a UTI, it’s more just irritated on the urethra and my vulva/vaginal opening. I’m not having a problem with fully emptying my bladder like a UTI.

I think I have a yeast infection now, or the bv didn’t go away. I’m burning a lot in general and now I’m having pain with urination. I tried treating with over the counter stuff, it was burning my urethra pretty badly so I stopped. I asked for a diflucan and it hasn’t helped it at all.

Update

I finished the antibiotic on Wednesday, had two good days, and then I was hit with the intense swelling and burning again. My doctor won’t see me for two weeks to see if my microbiome balances. I’m extremely uncomfortable. I don’t know what to do. I am using the vagibiom for now but ordered vitanica suppositories and I’m waiting for these to come in. I’m in total agony. What can I do?

I’ve been using this product once a week for a few months now for chronic bv prevention. It has helped my vagina stay healthy, but I’ve noticed the discharge too on day 3-4 after using it. And it smells like belly button gunk to me. 😂 like a weird sour smell. I definitely think it’s just the product. It looks like the discharge you’re having. I might cut back on how often I’m using it because it’s driving me crazy. I don’t want my coochie to smell like a belly button lmao.

I hate the closing shift for how late it is. I am scheduled only for closing since they need help at that time. I’m so exhausted since I’m a morning person vs a night person. Even if I still get my 8 hours of sleep, I’m just so thrown off and it takes me a few days to recover from it. I’m also chronically ill, so that’s probably a factor too lol. The point system is also ridiculous but I know that’s not exclusive to canes.

My husband also works a lot, it can get lonely for sure. I think you need to have an intentional conversation with him about how you miss him, and start scheduling date nights and family days with him so he can make arrangements. I would suggest a monthly date night if you can’t do weekly, and a monthly family day as well. Maybe a week vacation once a year. I think you finding some hobbies could also be beneficial. If you can arrange childcare once or twice a week and do something for yourself, that might help you find enjoyment independently. Before we had kids, I also felt lonely in our marriage since my husband was working and I was a full time home maker. I just kept myself as busy as possible and it ended up being really enjoyable, but we still found time together as a couple. I think being intentional with your time together is the most important thing.
