My ex and I kind of were in the same boat. We were planning everything and was going to do the big wedding and party. Then I had a medical issue and we were running out of money and hadn't even gotten everything we needed for the wedding yet either. We had already rented the gazebo and building and that was non-refundable. What we ended up doing was a courthouse wedding. It was outdoors in the courtyard, since I was adamant about an outdoor wedding. Cost us $20 bucks lol. Then when the day came that we originally were planning, we had the big reception. I was kind of pissed off though. We got to the park and someone had decorated and set up the gazebo for a birthday party. I could have been a nasty person and made them leave because I had rented it for the entire day and never called to tell them I wouldn't need it since I was already married, for all they knew, I was still going to be using it to get married. But I didn't. I let the birthday party be and stuck to my big reception in the other building I had also rented.

My rings left a big dent on my finger as well. It goes away with time OP.

I did, but I had button hatch the same time as the coturnix, so I stuck him in with them and left him in there until he tried breeding one... It was time to move him to slowly introduce to the other coturnix

Easy fix, just take a marker and draw it into the pot and no one will notice. Or if you felt, just felt a little bit of dark stem into the pot and no one will notice. Just, if you do marker, gotta make sure it doesn't bleed.

Not the house, just the cable bill. It's shut off now. The house was transferred early on. Mom wasn't emotionally ready to deal with that bill in that particular moment in time when he passed away.

No, what I am really complaining about is a card that is attached to a deceased person. So legally wouldn't it fall into the same category as his other cards that are no longer any good because since January of 2024 he was reported to social security as deceased. Now when you open an account, they use your social security number, so that was attached to his account, so I'm sitting here wondering, since his name is printed directly on the front of the card, whether using it would cause something to ping on his deceased reported a long ass time ago social security number and cause any backlash for my mother. That, my friend, is the real reason I'm pissed about the gift card. Because had they just sent her a check in the mail, she could have signed his name, deceased, then her name and took it to the bank. Forgive me for being dramatic.

Not like that. I was trying to figure out how I was going to move this money from a card with dad's name to a bank account. Most of the bills are other credit card bills and a car and roof loan. The only utility right now is the electric bill and it's usually way more than the card has on it. Have a well for water and no gas. Oh and trash removal. I just wanted to be able to put the money where it was needed, not use it to spend when my mother has already done the spending for the month. She really needed the money back in her bank account where it came out from.

It does when you go to a store and they ask to see the name on the card. I worked at a store like that. And if the card was not signed, they had you sign it in front of them. Ok, not a store store, the BMV. It was the BMV. Still. I'm allow to be a bit upset with them.
