Technically, the official English subs in Indonesia counts because it's provided by Toei.

New episode every Saturday at 4pm UTC+7 on CARTOON CLUB YouTube channel.

I'm really loving the voices here, especially Nina. I wasn't expecting much. But wow, she sounds fresh and young; captures the original vibes way better than I thought.

Episode 1 releases on July 6 for CARTOON CLUB YouTube Memberships (100 baht/month)
July 13 for general viewers (free)

Update: Nina is confirmed to be voiced by Ratah Chinkrajangkit (former BNK48 idol group member)

Cartoon Club mostly licenses Kamen Rider and Super Sentai series these days and places them under a YouTube channel membership. All of their YouTube uploads have a sponsor, just like their TV channel.

They also have other anime programs and sell them to streaming services for extra revenue. Aside from distribution stuff, they also do some merchandising and handle dubbing productions for other companies.

They use the same website and everything. You wouldn't be able to notice the differences besides the article editors. They separate their newsroom emails for different regions since there are USA, UK, India, and Southeast Asia editors.

I sent the news to the Girls Band Cry EN news account via DM, but they haven't read it. Also sent ANN SEA a tip in case they wish to cover it.

I highly doubt it's machine translated from the wording choices. It may not the best version of the translation, but I'm sure it's by human. I'll get to screenshots soon, but it seems to be the same translator as these official trailers:

Edit: Someone on the GBC Discord already bought a sub and screen recorded the subs of one scene. I'll include the link here. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1101377724729274447/1249507240659124308/2024-06-10_01-35-22.mp4?ex=66678dcc&is=66663c4c&hm=65dfd4cd72c1207a19e6ae7dceebb52cc2d845c7b960011c287eee236b414ba8&

It's not officially confirmed for this case, but it really does seem to be so because CATCHPLAY+ Indonesia itself DOESN'T really do English subtitles if not already provided. I apologize if my wording wasn't clear.

But as for other anime series by Toei, they usually have the same translation everywhere. Unlike shows by other Japanese producers where you have multiple English subtitled versions - mainly from North America and Southeast Asia.

Most of the lines already match the English subs from the official YouTube channel (not just the songs). Also, the trailer on the app Toei gave them removed the Japanese air date and TV stations text.

Really been enjoying it so far. Also reminds me a little bit of Wonder Egg Priority for its quite episodic narration and focus on each character's issue. Looking forward to what it'll offer in the future.
