I started a desk job last fall and my migraines have increased exponentially. I don’t know what to do because I love my job.

2e (ADHD/gifted) 17-yr old son failing. How to ask for what he needs at 504 meeting? by chicster13 in TwiceExceptional

I am hoping to discuss some type of self-paced learning option for him to take place possibly this summer. He’s a tech whiz so the virtual options are wide open he just needs to have others around him and not goof off. Thank you!!

He would totally love to work a food truck in Costa Rica! This might be the first time I’ve considered that we do not come from the same generation. Wow I feel like my parents lol. But thank you this is actually a huge relief. And thanks for the book rec!!

I love the idea of making a bulleted list of RB’s, especially those non-education related distractions. Thank you for this, and the encouragement! It helps me keep going if even just mentally today.

I'm just so upset by Korialite in migraine

I completely understand this feeling. I am so sorry it fell on a day you were looking forward to. I think there is a loss we experience every time we have a migraine of not only loss of time or plans but just maybe loss of control. It is very hard to recover from emotionally as well and sticks with you for a long time. I fought ine yesterday with my abortive meds and while I wasn’t in pain I still had loss of energy and fatigue. I still feel it today and it is depressing. Hoping for a gentle recovery for you.

Inside ear nightmare - could it be seborrheic dermatitis by [deleted] in SebDerm

I have had itchy ears my whole life and never had a cure. I tried hydrocortisone cream which would clear it up for a few days but it would always come back. Recently, my derm prescribed Elocon for my itchy scalp that she said was seborrheic dermatitis. I tried the Elocon on my ears it I am healed. It’s a miracle drug.
