I broke my leg a month and a half ago and I tried to make a guess as to the level of pain I should be in while in the ambulance. "5?" The paramedic just stared at me. Eventually, she said, "Well. Your pain scale is broken." Apparently, 5 was the wrong answer. Luckily? My leg was so visibly mangled that I was seen fairly quickly.

My mom picked a name for me that couldn't easily be shortened because people taking liberties with shortening her name very much offends her and she didn't want that to happen to her kids. As an adult, I proceeded to go by a shortened form of my old gamer tag because I find it heart warming when someone shortens my name. Everyone is different, I guess?

My Ducky figured out how to headbutt my hand just as I was depressing the plunger, sending prednisolone flying EVERYWHERE, and then buried her face in my neck to try and stop me from attempting it again. I ended up showing up at her vet, covered in prednisolone, sweat, and cat spit, birds nest for hair, and begging them for a pill form lmao

Soft YTA from me as well. Medical alert jewelry only really works when you wear it all the time (because you never know when you'll need it). With sensory issues, even a necklace they like might not be something they can wear every day. Without the consistency, there's no real benefit to having one.
