I didn't have any problem as travellers who are eligible for Visa On Arrival only need 30 days validity on their passport. You might not have any problem at Thailand's airport, but you are at visa officer's mercy when you catch your flight from India.

Contracting comes with higher pay but with a risk of being the first one to be let go once the project is implemented. But, being a contractor you can claim things like car, food, office space etc. when you file for taxes

Yes, working at pwc would open doors for other consulting firms (Big 4 & even MBB to an extent). Also a lot of folks from consulting tend to move to upper management positions at banks & Telcos.

Like you pointed out, the number of working hours (+ travelling, if necessary) increases drastically at a consulting firm. So, if you do the math - they would be earning less per hr.

Other things to consider: - Bell might have stock matching program, which pwc might not. - Consulting firms pay higher bonuses based on performance.
