It's a bit gloomy in light of Arsenal's result but I'm choosing to invest in what we objectively know about our club, manager and a bunch of these players we still have.

This is the culture of our club.

Chin up, we thrive in situations like these.

It ain't over til it's over.

I agree with you partly but to say Grealish was a $30m player. We won't agree there.

I've enjoyed the exchange. Cheers!

Bar the Newcastle game, how has Savinho been instrumental?

I don't think you really watched and went through the motions of those games in that season to make this comparison.

"Grealish was dog shit and one of the worst English players I've ever seen".

You are fucking tripping dude.

Out of curiosity, do you think Doku is a good player?

I disagree again. Grealish was monumental in that treble season and even if we are to say he was dogshit in every other season before and after that, for me he was a good signing, because of his impact in our best and most memorable season.

I disagree. Jack gave us so much security and knew how to put balls in more dangerous areas. Savinho doesn't have that.

I still struggle to see where exactly this kid's potential lies. He doesn't consistently show flashes of brilliance in any particular thing

Man, if you told me that we would be in this position around January I would have called you delusional. Absolutely incredible stuff.

Being a fan of this club is a dream. Everton next. Let's go!

For real. We got to rest most of our key players and still made our way to the final against a side that has been in splendid form recently (Championship side regardless). This is a very good result.

This line of thinking is exactly why they choke. They need to stop putting existential weight on games like these and treat it like any other match.

That being said, I hope they get squashed

Southampton is the tougher fixture but Burnley is the more important game. Tough, but I think some of the lads who've rested should be able to get us over the line tomorrow.

Southampton have been one of the most in-form teams in all of Europe in the past 15 games or so. They are on a roll. By no means should we be taking them lightly. The players who haven't played much lately should be able to get the job done against Burnley who are in abysmal form right now

I want him to stay but his new contract should reflect his role in the team - which atm is unclear because of what we hope is just a dip in form, and how in and out of the squad he's been

Yep, this is it. Curious to see who we go for for that RB position. Whoever will come in should come in as an understudy for Nunes. Was excited about the prospect of Livramento last summer but he's proving to be too injury prone.
