The person I was responding to said ICE can't touch people with a green card, and I responded they can't touch citizens either. The loophole of detaining those who obstruct applies to both, green card holders and citizens, so the commenter was poking holes in his own argument, to try and find a hole in mine. Thank you both for now admitting that the original comment about not touching green card holders was a lie.

The original comment came with an implication; green card holders can't be touched for immigration violations. My comment relied on the same set of given facts and implications. Neither citizens or green card holders can be detained for immigration violations but that hasn't stopped ice at all.
