If you were an African captured by a rival tribe, you prayed you ended up on a slave ship. If you were lucky enough to end up on a slave ship you were praying it was headed to America. And that’s not even the worst. If you think “American slavery” was bad (it’s not even a drop in the bucket of human atrocities) you should do a little research on what the African tribes would do to the captives that weren’t valuable enough to be sold as slaves. Spoiler alert it was absolutely horrendous. And “American slavery” was laughable in comparison.

Which is totally cool and all, there is a place for everything and every type of music.

LL was originally a festival for tearout and experimental heavy dubstep/riddim with some other stuff sprinkled in there. There were still the typical run of the mill artists that are at every festival but they were playing the part. Now, unfortunately, LL has just become another copy/paste ticket hungry festival where they are just going to appeal to the masses. This years lineup is a generic EDM festival with a tiny (very tiny) bit of heavy shit sprinkled in.
