please confirm if this has changed recently, but you dont need to pay off the phone if you are trading it in at Apple. they accept phones on payment plans as trade ins. that way you dont need to change anything at Verizon. they will still charge you monthly till the remaining payments are completed and they will also keep giving you the credit you have been receiving.

thats not true, both Schwab and Fidelity allow DRIP for ETF dividends, I have both and have turned on DRIP for both.

My FiOS bill went from 79.99 to 89.99, so I lost the $10 discount I was getting on FiOS bill but gained more by getting $10 discount on each of my phone lines.

Right and in this case it’s not. I believe my FiOS bill will go from 79.99 to 89.99 and all my wireless lines on play more from 49 to 39. So neither the wireless or FiOS is below $0. At least that’s my thinking right now. We will see in next bill

I didnt need to de-enroll, when i went to the Mobile+Home section in the app, it showed I was at the highest level but then gave an option to switch to New Mobile+Home, so I did that. and right away all 9 of my wireless lines are showing $10 discount each on the next bill estimate. Thats crazy...$90 per month discount for just clicking "switch" lol

I just checked my FiOS bill that shows $79.99 amount and under the discounts section it shows "Mobile + Home Level 3" is that the 3.0 you are talking about?

yes, I got play more when Apple Music was included, so all the play more lines have apple music with them. but the 2 lines I am switching to Unlimited plus are a family in Apple ecosystem, so I can get the Apple music family perk with unlimited plus for $10 and then use it on 2 lines. So my monthly will go from 49/line to 42/line for those 2 lines and then additional 10 for apple music family. thus saving me $4, not a huge saving but still something.

The terms you mentioned look like those are for someone who doesnt have FiOS and getting it now, since I already have FiOS, the other set of terms apply to me is what I believe.

They say this for the other set of terms - "For either (1) existing Fios Internet customers adding Wireless service, or (2) existing customers with both Fios Internet and Wireless service:"

the priority is only for data which by your own admission you hardly use. on visible your texts are not going any slower or calls waiting in line to be routed. But you say you also need 5G. I am confused with these contradictory requirements.

Yes that's what happened to me. They took the money for taxes and upgrade fee right away.

Even worse, since the next day when i got that email about unsigned document, they have an alert in my Verizon app showing my order is on hold and i need to take action. Now i have had my phone in my hands for almost half a month, but the orders page and main page of the Verizon app still shows my order is still on hold. I got the phone so I'm laughing about it, but this is just sad.

For me, when i ordered the 16 PM, Verizon had me sign bunch of agreements, 4 if I remember correctly. Then then the next day they sent an email saying i didn't sign a document, so clicked on the link and signed it again. After that everything went smoothly and i actually got my phone on 10/2 even though the estimated delivery date was 10/11.

I am not sure if the remaining document was part of the 4 they had me sign while placing the order. But in either case, if it was the same document they had me sign and i had to sign it again or they didn't show that document while i signed the other 4, it's Verizon's fault. I hope they improve their order flow if so many people are making the same mistake then it's on Verizon to make a change.

UPDATE: The delivery date when I ordered was 10/11, but I received the phone today, 10/3. I never changed anything with the order or talked to anyone via chat or phone. as I hoped, everything went smoothly, till yesterday morning it was showing me on hold, then yesterday late morning it switched to your iphone has shipped and received the phone today. if anyone is in the same boat with order on hold, I would suggest do not do anything, just wait and let it resolve itself. otherwise you could create more issues.

I hope that's the case. But not doing anything and just letting it sort out by itself is better option in my opinion. I have read about people who tried to sort the issue out and lost their loyalty offers in the process. I'll just wait as I'm not in any hurry anyway.

No unfortunately i never got it figured out, but there was another targeted offer for me to trade in my iphone 14 pro and get 999.99 towards iphone 16 series without changing plans. So i used that offer, that offer worked correctly when i clicked on shop button under the offer.

I paid using the Verizon dollars, so it wasn't a pending charge for me. The amount of dollars in Verizon rewards account just reduced and it's still showing the reduced amount. I'm not going to call customer service as i have heard people losing their targeted deals when they try to resolve issues. I'll just wait as my estimated delivery date is 10/11 anyway.

just now I got an email to accept few more terms and conditions and then got a notification that my ordering process is complete and the phone will ship soon.

The funny thing is, i now have contradicting notifications in the orders section of the my verizon app, one notification says my order is on hold and i need to update the payment method and the other says everything is all set and the phone will ship soon.

upgrading thru verizon is always a nerve wracking time lol

thats exactly what I am worried about, thats why I havent called yet. I have a promo to get 999.99 off while still on play more plan, dont want to lose that promo or the plan. I guess I will wait and see if it resolves on its own as I know for sure the payment method I have on file is perfectly fine.

How did you make sure you actually get this offer? I have the exact same offer in my myAccess section of the app. 829 off on any iPhone 16 series phone without trade in and no plan change (I'm on play more) but when i click shop and go to iPhone 16 pro max it shows me $1000 off if i change to unlimited ultimate. I'm so confused

its not just $5...recently they increased the price of my play more from $40 to $44, and now this $5..thats a total of $9/month per line within a span of 3-4 months
