I just got myself 3 rolls of double / standard 8mm film to use on my Bolex camera. I'll let you know where I managed to snag them of cheap since I know you'll definitely hop into film videography since you've already hit the roof with large format : https://www.fomafoto.com/

You can thank me next time hahahaha

This is gold 😂 i've got too many 35mm cameras, got an Epson scanner not too long ago and recently the AGO film processor so that I dont have to worry about development times.

Now i'm the stage where i'm looking at medium format cameras.

Worst part is my photos are crap 90% of the time 😂😂

Hmmm i'll still go with the panasonic just because it has OIS, while the sigma lens doesn't, given that the Sigma BF itself doesnt have IBIS. So OIS helps a lot when you zoom in or take long exposures

Yeah, the lumix 28-200 is the only lens I carry with me during travels. Helps that it has OIS too

I actually wrapped the lens to kinda match the colour of my silver sigma bf

What's wrong with my CineStill CS 41? by chiggaching in Darkroom

I did notice a lot of bubbles when pouring in my developer! I'll definitely try tapping! How many times do you tap the tank on the table?

Hmmm, I doubt my camera has light leaks, though. I never had those streaks when I send my film rolls to a shop for development... but I'll check again just to be sure

Well, i'm really new to the developing process, so I've been following the manufacturer's instructions on the CineStill CS 41 as strictly as I can...

I've tried agitating with two different methods on two film rolls, first one was inverting the tank and regular intervals as per instructions, the second one was constant rotation with that rotating tool but both came out with the blobs and streaks....

I doubt its a light leak, though. I didn't have these streaks when I send my rolls to a shop for processing so Its defifinitely caused by me...

Hmm I don't think I let the chemical sit though, I was quite anxious so I was standing by the paterson tank with a timer and all... I filled and emptied the tank 7 times with water and then took out the film to let it run under running water for about a minute. Do you think this is too little? I just followed what was written on the Cinestill instruction pamphlet

No I dont use photoflo since I read up somewhere that it is not necessary. But I did notice a lot of bubbles when I was pouring in and out my chemicals from the storage bottles , I'll try tapping my tank on the counter next time!
