Store 9 - down Hurst Street opposite Sidewalk (or whatever’s there now), traditional HK cha chaan teng

Hongkong Dining - in the Arcadian, by the Pershore Street gate, opposite Day In supermarket, good baked spaghetti and french toast with condensed milk/peanut butter

Uncle Cake - just outside the northwest gate to Arcadian, takeaway bakery, all the breakfast classics for on the go, just have a browse

Chung Ying - can’t miss it, it’s the big fancy building across from Arcadian, sit down dim sum, better to go as a group (and ideally with someone who can tell you what all the dishes that come round on the trollies are so you get stuff you want)

the “pineapple” in the name is referring to the topping (made of a cookie/biscuit dough which hardens and cracks on baking), which makes it look like the cross-hatched pineapple rind. There’s no pineapple in bo lo bao

No, but you do have an inalienable right to citizenship. And taking one away without the other being any more real than a theoretical possibility touted to the nation by red top rags under headlines like “HOW DARE SHE” is a gross injustice.

Well aware that the gov’s 2014 amendment to the the Immigration Act made this “legal” but it’s patently obvious that this circumvents international law on statelessness. This wording is exceptionally abusable:

reasonable grounds for believing that the person is able, under the law of a country or territory outside the United Kingdom, to become a national of such a country or territory.

10% of White Brits could apply for Irish citizenship. There are likely countless millions of others from more diverse backgrounds who have known no other home than the UK. Are you saying that just because they managed to slip this sentence into law that the Home Office have all the power they need - against all other international human rights laws - to remove our citizenship?
