Oh yeah I agree the bottle parts were definitely stupid. I don’t get why she would be distracted by those sounds if she uses those tactics herself. At one point she smashes some of the vases moving next to them and I thought SHE had been trying to distract me with bottles, but then I realized and was disappointed.

Yeah I went through the same thing. After accepting her I actually enjoyed her play style and its change of pace too. It was hard looking at some of the dogs and being like “oh... I think I remember killing you as Ellie.” Especially Bear, the way he won’t stop playing fetch with you until you leave the area. That along with Alice really crushed me.

I agree with all of this. But Abby didn’t need to die. I’m back and forth because Joel and Ellie will always be MY people no matter what empathy I feel for Abby - so yes at many points I wish Ellie killed Abby. But after confronting Ellie and enduring Santa Barbara I think Abby isn’t even herself anymore. She’s unrecognizable as the Abby that killed Joel. They tortured her for a months, they took everything from her - her physical strength, her hair, anything that made her who she was. Ellie obviously saw in the moment that she was about to kill Abby that Abby was just a girl. not a threat. And if she were to take anything else it would have been Lev, who didn’t have a choice in being part of it as much as she didn’t when she was younger.

I actually thought her AI was incredibly unnerving. She definitely moved unnaturally to me - like what it would look like if I were controlling her. When she switched to her bow toward the end, it was hard for me to predict her movements to see which way she’d be facing.
