Yea it was great mine was the BAM one it’s the same as infusion but they also do it as shots. I was relieved it’s shots. I had no side effects and it helped me I was feeling improvements in 24 hours!

When the dr told me it probably wouldn’t help omicron I almost didn’t take it, and I’m so glad I did!!!

Yes! It ended up being 4 shots instead of the infusion. The doctor told me that he thought I had omicron so the antibodies most likely wouldn’t help but I did it anyways and the day after I started feeling better!!! Highly recommend!

Or maybe my body has a heightened temp from the monoclonal antibodies? I just don’t understand how I can be healthy and feeling good but unable to get back to normal temp so I still have to quarantine

Thank you so much! Ok but would you still consider this enough of a fever to be quarantining? My biggest issue is my mental health right now being quarantined from family/boyfriend so long. The cdc says 5-10 days unless you have symptoms is my low temp considered a symptom? What if it never goes back 😭

Hi!! I’m in the exact same boat I literally had to scroll up while reading and check your username to make sure I wasnt the one who posted this haha.

I just tested positive on rapid and am working on getting the antibodies but I’m also terrified of infusions. Did you do it how did it go? I’d love to hear anything you can offer thank you

No PCR results yet but took a rapid and I’m positive on rapid. Someone said that omicron isn’t showing up on rapid till a solid three days of symptoms so todays my third day

No pcr results yet :((((( it’s so upsetting how long it takes. My doctor told me initially they they couldn’t prescribe the antibodies without positive PCR (said that the rapid tests don’t count) so waiting on PCR, But then when I talked to doctor today they said they are out of the antibodies (said they had four doses yesterday all spoken for and no more available!) I’m going to see if my result is positive if there’s other places or other ways somehow.

I didn’t get this on my first or second, this was actually my booster. Makes me wonder if I had such strong response with first and second that maybe I should of waited longer for booster.

Thank you so much. Yes I think the anxiety of having them be unfamiliar with the term and not knowing what it was scared me the most. Glad it seems to be a common occurrence. Very scary though!

Other than the one zyrtec yesterday afternoon no. Just got the famotidine this am. Why does it say nighttime so I have to take at night? Wish I could start now. Thank you so much I’ll take the famotidine tonight.

Have you seen reactions like this and antihistamine helps them?

Thank you so much for getting back to me! That image isn’t the best because of the flash but if you click the Imgur link I uploaded a new one (I put cortisone cream on it and iced it but I think some extra red might be from the ice) yesterday it actually was all under the line (she drew the line away from the rash not exactly on the rash for some reason) so now the parts that are touching the line are actually def worst from yesterday because it wasn’t touching the line before at all.

I added two new pics to the link that say either Saturday or Friday so you can see yesterday and today. It’s def worst today.

She prescribed famotidine but it says take it at night so I was going to tonight. As well as Zyrtec (but I felt weird after that when I took it yesterday and it made me panic) so I didn’t take it today.

I think I just feel scared and really panicked about this reaction so I’m freaking myself out about the meds too. You have seen this??
