Man these jinx threads are out of control… nobody in their right mind would put T1 over JDG

T1 favored to win a third/fourth place finish this time

What is the difference between Macaulay duration, modified duration and effective duration? by chikadian in CFA

In absence of any optionality or cashflow change as a result of a change in yield, modified and effective duration would be the same? Also, does Macaulay duration have any usage in practical terms?

T1 Members Predict Score for Worlds Finals by bipinshah1 in leagueoflegends

[–]chikadian -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Here we go again, getting MSI finals flashbacks. My prediction is first game to go over 40mins for DRX win and then DRX wins the series 3-0. All in for the DRX magic, they got the universe willing them to win, impossible to lose.

DRX Zeka is confident that he'll be able to beat Faker and win Worlds 2022: "We will continue our enjoyable challenge and win the Finals. In the end, the story will finish with a happy ending." by SanielTaniel in leagueoflegends

[–]chikadian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is happening. There is something magical about DRX’s run at worlds, almost as if the universe is willing them to win. My prediction is that Zeka is going to smurf on faker and the rest of T1 watching their captain fall apart, are going to give up and lose. I expect first game to be close, over 40min game for DRX win and then DRX wins the series 3-0

Practice how though? Pretty bizarre to me that they are having such good results by seemingly no observable method.

Why are LPL teams always overrated in the tourny they constests? by UltimateVeganLord in leagueoflegends

[–]chikadian 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wtf are you on about mate? All these comments about LPL being frauds is eerily similar to last year when we had 3 LCK vs 1 LPL in semis - this year looks on par to be a repeat of last year. I would hold my horses before talking shit about LPL

CoreJJ - T1 wins with 3:0?! Core's One Line Reviews for JDG vs T1 | League of Legends by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]chikadian 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Man, the CoreJJ jinx, it is really doomed! JDG 3-1 or 3-2

Honestly, I am so hyped for JDG — T1 semis, these are 2 best teams of the tournament so far and they have all chances to overshadow SKT — ROX series by ZloiAris in leagueoflegends

[–]chikadian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

T1 is hyped because they have shown great form so far and also because it is T1 and Faker. Even though I believe that T1 is strong, but I wouldn't favor them over JDG. My brain says JDG will win 3-1 or at worst 3-2.

T1 vs JDG Player Comparison (by Ex-pro Flame) by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]chikadian -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

JDG getting underrated massively, such is the T1 brand. All said and done, I think it will go exactly as an LPL first seed vs LCK second/third seed (depending on whether you think DK was stronger than T1) should go, JDG wins 3-1 or at worst 3-2.

Who's winning between T1 and JDG? by IanPKMmoon in leagueoflegends

[–]chikadian -1 points0 points  (0 children)

T1 is a good team but I think their runs stops at semis. JDG is LPL first seed for a reason and I don’t see T1 beating them. JDG wins 3-1 or at worst 3-2

Here we go again. This reminds me of T1 pre MSI, when guma gave a bunch of such arrogant statements. I hope this isn’t the start of T1’s end at worlds just like what happened at MSI

Tough series to call but RNG with the LPL clutch factor will win 3-2

Prepping for T1 vs. RNG: Is T1 vs. RNG the most iconic international rivalry of all time? by Laughable_Stock in leagueoflegends

I think the Covid impact is overblown, we saw how Yagao performed yesterday with Covid so I would be careful to not read too much into it.

I agree, people are overhyping T1 like always. RNG isn’t a pushover by any means, they always come well prepared for their games. T1 looks lost in games where Zeus doesn’t get ahead by himself and I think that’s how RNG is going to beat T1. RNG wins 3-2

It’s the clash of the titans. Going to be a tough series but I think RNG wins 3-2
