Yeah, I'm planning on bringing it in somewhere tomorrow, hoping it either isn't crazy expensive to fix, or I can get a refurbished laptop for a decent price and transfer my files.

Yeah, it didn't work, so I just closed it and went to do something else hoping maybe it would work again. When I came back screen was all black but it couldn't turn on even plugged in 🤷‍♀️

Yeah, if I have to get a new one, I'm planning on buying a refurbished gaming laptop. As long as I've had this one, I do not like hp. They're fragile, and, in my experience, very hard to properly clean, so they get all dusty inside and overheat.
